about 34 years, 10 Ph.D. and 82 M.Phil students have completed Research
theses under his supervision, more than 2000 students have completed
Masters/or equivalent in Physics under his guidance and are serving at
national / International Institutions with prominent positions. He worked
as head of physics, computer science & social work departments. He has
published a number of scientific research publications in international and
national journals and has presented research articles in international and
national conferences.
He is the person who established Research Group in the field of Medical
Physics to conduct research at M.Phil & P.hD level, first ever in Pakistan
amongst all the universities in the country.
He has worked as Vice-Chancellor of the Islamia of University
Bahawalpur as well as Vice-Chancellor Govt. Sadiq College Woman
University at Bahawalpur. Remained Director Advance Studies &
Research Board, Director Students affairs, Chairman Hall Council,
Chairman of house allotment committee. agricultural land auction
committee. Disciplinary committee for Exams., Entry Test Committee. He
Worked as member syndicate, Senate, Academic Council and Advance

of Research
Interest
The research interest is in the application of physics in medicine and
biology. The area of my research covers , Medical imaging with MRI,
fMRI, CT scanning, Ultrasonoghraphy, Gamma Camera, and
Nuclearmedicine. Whereas towards the treatment of cancer it covers
Radiotherapy, Nanomedicine, Brachytherapy and IMRT.
