Cluster Tubes
Overview
Cluster Tubes are assemblies of integrated fuel tubes, purge tubes, brake tubes, and other tubes that pass under the vehicle floor.
Each tube undergoes an end-forming process to shape the ends to fit the mating connections, after which the tubes are bent and secured together in a plastic clamp. The bending process is performed using benders made in-house.
At Sanoh, we have developed a variety of benders that utilize different bending methods. By selecting the processing method most suitable for a product's configuration, and at times combining multiple methods, we have the capability to achieve a variety of bending configurations.
Conventionally, rubber hose and hose bands have been used to connect fuel tubes and purge tubes to engines and fuel tanks; however, replacing this older technology with Sanoh plastic tubing and quick connectors increases performance and helps to achieve weight savings. In addition, the integration of plastic tubing and steel tubing lowers transportation costs and assembly costs.
Features
1. Benders are designed for a variety of bending methods, enabling most
suitable method to be used for a given configuration.
2. By using plastic tubing and quick connectors, working efficiency is
improved and costs are lowered.
3. Steel tubing, plastic tubing, and quick connectors are designed and
manufactured in-house, which enables comprehensive development that
combines these products.
4. Equipment for cluster tubes is designed and fabricated entirely in-house.

Brake Tubes
Overview
Brake tubes are used to transmit hydraulic pressure generated by the master cylinder to the brake units in the wheels.
The tubes link the master cylinder, ABS (anti-lock braking system), ESC (electronic stability control) system, brake units, and other related components.
Due to the high operating pressure of braking systems, brake tubes utilize brazed steel tubing due to the excellent pressure resistance of the material. The tube ends undergo a flaring process in which they are formed into a double flare, an ISO flare, or other shape for high-pressure use, after which the tubes are bent according to the specifications of each vehicle to become finished products.
The image on the right shows multiple brake tubes bundled together with a plastic clamp to form an assembled product. Bundling tubes into an assembly simplifies installation, which improves working efficiency on vehicle assembly lines.

Fuel Injection Rails (FIRs)
Overview
The fuel injection rails (FIRs) developed by Sanoh are devices that uniformly supply fuel to the fuel injectors in automobile engines.
Stainless steel, steel, and plastic types are available.
The L-shape type has a function to reduce the pulsation generated when fuel is injected from the fuel injector nozzles. This prevents unpleasant noise from traveling from the engine room to the vehicle cabin, which contributes to making the cabin more comfortable. Sanoh FIRs are now widely used by both domestic and overseas automakers.
Our plastic FIRs were initially adopted for use in two-wheeled vehicles by domestic automakers in 2005; they were later adopted for use in four-wheeled vehicles by overseas automakers in 2009 and by domestic automakers in 2013.
Features
1. Available in a variety of configurations to meet our customers' needs
2. Maintains adequate fuel distribution
3. L-shape type:
Significantly reduces pulsation during fuel injection compared to
conventional products

Fuel Senders for Motorcycles
Overview
Fuel senders for motorcycles are components that attach the fuel pump and fuel gauge to the fuel tank.
Metal pipes, which are impermeable to fuel, are brazed directly to the metal flange that seals the fuel tank, thereby minimizing the number of component parts. In addition, the in-furnace brazing method ensures the flatness of the high-quality flange.
Sanoh fuel senders have been adopted by many domestic and overseas motorcycle manufacturers.

Water Pipes
Overview
Water pipes are used in automotive water-cooling circulation systems.
Stainless steel, steel, and plastic types are available.
Features
1. Available in stainless steel, steel, or plastic
For the stainless steel type, we also offer a lightweight version made
from thin-walled (0.5 mm) pipe.
For plastic designs, we use a special injection-molding method known
as fluid-assisted injection technology to enable the molding of hollow
tubing, which is not possible using conventional injection-molding
techniques. With this technology, components such as brackets and
flanges can be integrally molded together with sections of tubing. In
addition to the possibility of a reduction in the number of components,
an effective decrease in the mass of the finished product can be
expected from the low specific gravity of the plastic material.

Air Shutter Guides
Overview
Air shutter guides are functional components for controlling the flow of air to the radiator.
When traveling at high speeds, the shutters close to inhibit the flow of air into the engine room, which contributes to a reduction in aerodynamic drag. In addition, by opening and closing depending on the engine operating conditions, the shutters can also be effective for the thermal management of the engine.
Features
1. Opening and closing of shutters is controlled by an actuator.
2. Rigid plastic of shutter bodies and soft plastic of shutter tips (seals) are
integrated by double-injection molding. Designed for improved adhesion
at contact areas of shutter tips so that soft material of tips will prevent
gaps in seals and suppress contact sound when shutters close.
