Production plants are located in San Vito al Tagliamento, province of Pordenone, industrial centre of north-eastern Italy, not far from Venice and Treviso airports. This location provides the company with good connections with areas in the world where MaterMacc sells its products. MaterMacc plants cover a surface of 110.000 m2 which includes 3 areas designated for production, R&D, commercial and administrative offices, and 30 hectares of trial fields where new products are tested. SUBSOILER

The MaterMacc ripper of the ROCK series has been designed and constructed to meet all user needs on particularly firm terrain and where crop residue is present.The high-resistant steel used and the particular structure with bolted joints make the ROCK ripper suitable for heavy-duty working conditions.Each anchor is equipped with a bolted safety device duly sized and a quick-release tip. It can also be equipped with deflectors to break up the terrain better.The row spacing between the anchors can be easily modified to adapt to the needs of the most demanding operator.The ROCK ripper can also be used in the version without wheels. The rear rollers are equipped with parallelogram hydraulic movement which ensures quick and accurate adjustment of the working depth.

Main FeaturesThe Easy-Set tool bar makes MaterMacc the most versatile machine on the market and rises its value. It allows the farmer to set any row spacing, according to crop planted, from a minimum of 37,5 cm to 70-75-80 cm. in the standard versions, but different spacing may be considered for specific requests. The operation is easy and can be done manually in a relatively short time. The Easy-Set tool bar solution is available on rigid and folding tool bars.

Main FeaturesSuitable for planting either on a prepared soil or on a minimum tillage condition. It permits to maintain the preset seeding depth.Characterized by a double disc opener with a diameter of 390 mm, it can work with crop residues on soil. TWIN ROW PRECISION PLANTERS

Planting Unit MS TWIN is the twin row precision planting unit of the MS 8000 range, with double disc coulter, allowing the twin rows to sow using the quincunx technique. The MaterMacc MS TWIN unit allows a sowing distance of 22 cm between the twin rows.

MS TWIN Increasing production using the same surface area is now possible due to MaterMacc’s innovative twin row planter. The productive yield per hectare is increased by changing the sowing density and the plant genetic, using quincunx or “zig-zag” sowing. Despite that the equipment already in the company could be maintained, such as cultivators and collection bars, since the row spacing is the same as the one for maize (70-75 cm).

The MSO-DUO planting unit has two MagicSem metering units. The sowing is done in 2 rows per each unit. The metering units can be moved laterally covering the inter-row seeding from 4 to 10 cm. One metering unit for all seed typesThe dosing system has been developed to guarantee optimal performance and consistent distribution for all types of seed. The MagicDrill seed distributor is made up of variable cell sprockets that can be used individually, for very small seeds, or together for doses up to 400 kg/ha.Choosing the most appropriate sprocket is really easy and requires only a few, simple manual movements.The 4 distributors can be fully inspected, to optimise and reduce cleaning to a minimum. The sowing test is also easy to carry out, thanks again to the clearance space around the distributors.

Planting unitThe jointed parallelogram part of the planting unit ensures robust and reliable performance over time, including during intensive use at high sowing speeds.

The adjustment spring means the 50 kg load on each planting unit can be increased; this ensures the same sowing depth is maintained, even for firmer terrains.

The seed pressing wheel, in addition to closing the sowing furrow, also serves as a depth control wheel. It can be manually adjusted to alter the sowing depth.

Finally, the seed cover adapts to the irregularity of the terrain and distributes the seeds evenly.

Variator The dry-running cam stepless gear box allows all types of seed to be dosed highly accurately; this applies to large seeds as well as very small seeds such as rape and alfalfa. The variator does not require maintenance, is easy to adjust and operates consistently, both when distributing relatively small quantities and when covering large sowing areas. The variator operates using a large transmission wheel and has a very wide tread to prevent it from skidding or distributing incorrectly.

MSD 2.0 COMBI Seed drill combinedwith power harrow

Pneumatic seed drill for sowing in rows in prepared or semi-prepared soil. The working width ranges from 3,0 m to 3,5 m with a standard row distance of 12,5 cm (other row distances available if requested). The 2 dispensers are powered by an electric motor and controlled by the MaterMacc X4 sowing monitor. This monitor allows the seed density to be changed quickly, by setting the desired value. It also controls the sowing flow for each section. The tramline and seed exclusion functions are optional and can be integrated with the X4 monitor.

Coefficient of variationPrecision and evenness of spreading, which can be tested using the test kit. WTRONIC control computerThe Plus and Elektro versions of the fertilizer spreader are equipped with WTRONIC control computer to perfectly manage fertilizer spreading.For the PLUS version, the computer adjusts the amount distributed in relation to the advancing speed. In the ELEKTRO version, in addition to the proportional adjustment, the computer also measures, at preset intervals, the amount of fertilizer remaining using the 4 loading cells.

Automatic weighing system The Elektro versions are equipped with an automatic weighing system with high frequency loading cellsAll versions are installed with 4 cells to ensure correct weighing even when working on hills.

MaterMacc AppEach MaterMacc fertilizer spreader is supplied with a distribution table where different types of fertilizer and seeds are already catalogued. Furthermore, it is possible to adapt new types with quick calculations for correct distribution. The tables are now available using the convenient App for Android and iOS smartphones and devices.

BordersAll MaterMacc fertilizer spreaders are preset with a border system with hydraulic actuation directly from the tractor cab for the ELEKTRO versions, using electrical control through the XTRONIC computer.

MBSMaterMacc MBS mounted sprayers are available with three different sizes of tank, with nominal capacities of 800, 1000 and 1200 L respectively. They are all equipped with a 120 L rinse tank and a 20 L personal wash tank. All sprayers are equipped with a high-resistance steel frame, which has gone through a process of cataphoresis and then been painted with a powder coating, making in suitable for liquid fertilisation treatments.The spray booms operate using a hydraulic mechanism, with working widths of 15, 16 and 18 m. Compact design to reduce the strain on the lifter, providing greater stability for the tractor. This significantly reduces how compacted the ground becomes, as a result of reducing the weight.

Delivery divertorA Spray and adjust the agitation intensity.

Control panelThere are just two levers for ease of use and to simplify setting the MaterMacc sprayer. The position of the levers is screen printed directly on the casing, instead of on a sticky label which deteriorates over time.

Aspiration divertorE Aspirate the mixture from the main spray tank for spraying (operating phase).

F Load the main spray tank from an external source using the aspiration pump.

G Enable circuit and spray-boom rinse using clean water, without diluting the mixture in the main spray tank. This function is particularly useful when treatment must be suspended, for example in adverse weather conditions that prevent the treatment from being finished.

H Aspirate from the clean-water tank to rinse.

Diaphragm pumpThe diaphragm pump with DESMOPAN seals can also operate in dry-running mode where required. The construction materials are resistant to corrosion, including when using aggressive products such as liquid fertilizers. Distribution can be set and changed at any time using the MaterMacc spraying computers.

Level indicatorThe level indicator fitted on the atomiser means the residual quantity can be read, both from the tractor cab and from the left-hand side. This can be useful during filling.

Filling connector The filling kit for the main spray tank and the rinse tank from a pressurised source is used to fill the main spray tank and the clean-water tank from the left-hand side of the atomiser. The filling connector is equipped with a quick cam coupling (2”, main spray tank; 1”, rinse tank).

MixerThe 20 l mixer is used to dissolve liquid substances, powders and granular fertilizers quickly and safely.There is a rotating nozzle to clean the tanks of phytosanitary residues. This means the mixing tank can be cleaned with the cover closed.

Variable intensity hydraulic agitatorsThe agitation circuit inside the main spray tank is made up of a high-volume hydraulic ejector and a pair of anti-sludge nozzles.The agitation intensity can be changed on the control panel and agitation can be stopped altogether to prevent foaming when the mixture is almost used up. Thanks to the unique spraying circuit, every time work is stopped, for example when manoeuvring in headland access patches, the agitators operate at maximum pressure to ensure the mixture is optimal.

Drum-rinse nozzlesTo clean the inside of the main spray tank there are two rotating nozzles connected to the clean-water tank.The walls of the tank are smooth and there are no hidden corners or blind holes inside; this means that the rotating nozzles clean effectively.

External lanceThe lance, supplied as an optional, can be used to clean the MaterMacc atomiser quickly and effectively, directly in the field.The hose reel holds 20 m of hose and is an effective cleaning tool. It consumes a relatively low quantity of clean water, taken from the circuit rinse tank.

Delivery filterThe standard self-cleaning filter is positioned up from the valve unit and fully filters the mix before it is delivered to the boom circuit. This stops the spraying nozzles from becoming clogged and damaged.

Aspiration filterThe standard aspiration filter protects the spraying pump and circuit from foreign bodies.The filter is located on the left-hand side of the sprayer and is easily accessible.

IRRIGAMATICThe IRRIGAMATIC range includes a series of electronic control units for self-propelled irrigators. Models IRRIGAMATIC EVO and B1, B2, allow the return speed of the irrigating trolley to be controlled and managed from 4 to 850 m/h The PRO models interact with all mobile telephones for irrigation function control.

MOTORMATIC, MTR-3S MOTORMATIC is an electronic control unit to control and protect the motorised pump used for irrigation. It automatically adjusts the operating pressure, optimising fuel consumption.The MTR-3S control unit governs the returning internal combustion engine of the self-propelled irrigator.
