Schedule

• This is the production schedule for our main task. It will help us keep track of what we are doing, and who is in charge of each different job. We will each contribute equally to the task, so that each person has a fair amount of work to do. We will make sure that each person has a different job to do, and that nobody is overloaded with work.

Radio Main Jingle

• Lydia is in charge for the main jingle for The Dock's FM radio show. She will create a jingle on Adobe Audition and make sure it is suitable for our radio station. She will use different types of copyright free sound effects, which will suit our station, such as seagull noises and boat horns. This will link into the scene of Grimsby, as the sounds are what you might be able to be familiar with, if you go down to Grimsby Docks.

This is required for production because you  need to be able to establish and know what radio show the audience is listening to. This introduces the whole show, and tells you where to find the show, and what frequency it is played at. It gives an identity to the show.

Radio News Jingle

• I will create the news jingle to introduce the news section of the broadcast. I will make this jingle short and serious, alerting people that the news is coming up. I will use beeps and different techno sound effects from a copyright free source website.

This is needed for the radio show because we need to be able to tell when the news segment is coming on, it introduces the news stories that are going to be talked about.

Editing broadcast together

• Connor will help to edit the broadcast together. We will use the editing software Adobe Audition to edit each section of the radio show together, effectively.

This is required, so that the broadcast will run smoothly, with no awkward moments. We need the show to run all the way through without breaks or pauses, and we need to be able to make sure we combine all of the elements into the radio show, including the interviews, jingles, outside broadcasts and other elements.

Gathering Interviews

• Jack will be the one to gather the interviews from the members of public, and the important people that we will be interviewing. He will be in charge of going outside to collect about 3-4 Vox Pops, which are small interviews with the members of public on the streets.

• We will be able to contact people of importance such as a member of the council, or someone with a higher status than college students. We will do a formal interview with one of them, and this gives our broadcast a professional view from a member of society with an important role.
