Production Schedule

As part of my planning and research , me and my partner Tori have designed a production schedule To help us keep within our deadline . In order to keep to our schedule we will be filming within college and also outside college at the weekends to enable us to successfully complete the task .

Ideas

Planning Ahead As part of my planning I decided to plan ahead and

arrange dates where me and my partner were both available to focus on our music video .

We decided that every Tuesday and Wednesday after college we would get everybody together to film and also during lesson times we also got involved and filmed many different shots so we had many to choose from .

We aimed to do two hours every time everyone's was free , however this was particularly difficult as our actors were not always available at times when others were. Further more because we created a plan and stuck to it and was not a problem to get everyone's together.

Editing TimeIn order be able to hand in our coursework in time

for the deadline , I had to book in advance times were I could begin using the editing machines . Me and my partner Tori began uploading our footage onto the computer as soon as we began filming and gradually filmed more so we could fit it together with our music .

Overall the process of editing was the most difficult part in my opinion as it was very time consuming as I wanted to ensure that everything was perfect and not out of time . I also had to cut many shots as some were particularly longer than I anticipated and therefore we wanted everything to fit correctly.

Music

As part of my planning our first priority was to find the right song that matched our interpretation. This was a long process and I had to go through many different songs which were of all different genres. However in the end I found one that we both believed suited our message clearly. After editing my footage and putting it into a video , I added the song after I put music video together as I then had to make sure the song went with what our actors were saying which was extremely difficult and took me many attempts before it looked and became successful .

Making Changes

After I had completed all my work I was able to get feedback off my target audience in order to help me make any changes that will improve my grade or my technically skills.

This concept is extremely important to the production schedule as if I hadn't followed my plan then I wouldn’t of had any time at the end to change any mistakes or misconceptions that could appear in my music video . Therefore I believe making a schedule and always referring back to it is very important .
