Example of a film director Danny Boyle: Danny Boyle was born on the 20 th October 1956. He is an English film director and producer, best known for his work on films such as Slumdog Millionaire, Shallow Grave, 28 Days Later and Trainspotting. Boyle won numerous awards for his 2008 film Slumdog Millionaire, including the Academy Award for Best director. Boyle was presented with the Extraordinary Contribution to Filmmaking award at the 2008 Austin film festival, where he also introduced that years AFF Audience Award winner Slumdog Millionaire. In 2012, Boyle was the Artistic director for Isles of Wonder, the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic games.

Example of an editor Jean Oser: Jean Oser was a

German editor. He was born in 1908 and died in Strasbourg in 2002. Son of a circus director, he grew up in Berlin. He worked as an editor therefore has productions by young directors who are now in the legend of cinema, including GW Pabst. He continued his career as an editor for both the cinema and for the television, and directed documentaries.

Example of a sound designer Walter Murch: Walter Murch was born on the 12th July 1943 and is an American film sound designer. Murch started editing and mixing sound with Francis Ford’s The Rain people (1969). Subsequently, he worked on George Lucas’s THX 1138 and American Graffiti and Coppola’s The Godfather before editing picture and mixing sound on Coppola’s The Conversation, for which he received an Academy Award nomination in sound in 1974. Murch’s most famous for his sound designing work on Apocalypse Now, for which he won his first Academy award in 1974.

Example of a film producer Jerry Bruckheimer: Jerry Bruckheimer is an

American film and television producer. He has achieved great success in the genres of action, drama, and science fiction. His best known television series are CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: Miami, CSI: NY, Without a Trace, Cold Case, and The Amazing Race. Some of his best known films include Beverly Hills Cop, Flashdance, Top Gun, The Rock, Con Air, Armageddon, Bad Boys, Enemy of the State, Black Hawk Down, Pearl Harbour, Pirates of the Caribbean, and the National Treasure franchise. He is also one of the Board of Directors at ZeniMax Media. Many of his films were produced by Paramount and Disney, while many of his television series were co-produced by Warner Bros. and CBS Television Studios.

William Cameron Menzies was born on July 29, 1896, and died on March 5, 1957 was an Academy Award-winning American film production designer (a job title he invented) and art director who also worked as a director, producer, and screenwriter during a career spanning five decades. He earned acclaim for his work in silent movies, and later pioneered the use of colour in film for dramatic effect.
