This Guide will show you the basic formatting and quality standard that we require here at Creator Course as well as some links to tutorials, great deals on production equipment and everything you need to easily and eciently produce your course! Courses commonly Video based, supported by text and attached PDF playbooks. This guide will support you with you are creating video, audio, written or screen captured content! Basic Equipment • HD Video Camera • HD Stereo Microphone • Microsoft Word, Pages, Keynote or Powerpoint (for attached PDFs, and desktop presentations to be screen captured) • iMovie, Windows Movie Maker (for video editing) • Screenow, TinyTake (for screen capture) A Quiet, well-lit space

Video Lectures • Camera set to HD settings: 1280x720 • Microphone connected to camera• Studio is soundproofed; sound-dampening materials placed on walls and floors.   Lighting is even, balanced, bright, and without shadows. • Background is appropriate and non- distracting• Videos are exported from video editing software with HD (1280x720; 16:9) settings. Videos are not compressed • Videos are uploaded directly to Creator Course.

Audio Tracks • Set to Stereo• Do a Test Recording to Check for Buzzing or Hissing• Production Area is soundproofed; sound-dampening materials placed on walls and floors Computer desktop is clear and free of distracting elements• Videos are exported from video editing software with HD (1280x720; 16:9) settings. Videos are not compressed• Videos are uploaded directly to Creator Course

Text and/or Attached PDF • Spell Check and Have someone Review for Grammar• Stick to default “black” colors for the main text• Make clear sections separating content, questions, and other information• Creating an engaging and friendly tone through your written wordsScreen Capture Presentation

• Do a test run to make sure you are capturing your audio correctly• Do a test run to make sure the video and audio are synced properly• Export the Video file in full HD
