A process developed to take a traditionally created and published professional journal and while maintaining the current process also produce:PDFDAISYMP3Text/RTF

The Deliverables

• Continuation of the existing hard copy creation and production process.

• Use of existing hardware and software if possible.

• A system that can be sustained by existing organizational staff.

• Necessary support materials that do not require ongoing external support and assistance.

• The desired alternative formats

Problems Encountered

All Styles from InDesign are lost.-Source file has to be restyled in Word

If Fonts are embedded in InDesign file is copy protected upon export

All tabular data, charts are converted to images.-Tables, charts, graphs and descriptive text need to be reestablished in Word- Must have Word source files.
