Production Log Plan for next dayMonday 13/04/15 I started off my main project, I

begun to sketch about the location of each thing that I want present within the image as well as consider exactly what I want there in the first place.

I plan to continue sketching and adding detail into the picture

Tuesday 14/04/15 I continued sketching and this time I started adding detail into the picture and the different objects. I mainly work on the medieval side of things.

I want to continue to draw and add detail with pencil

Wednesday 15/04/15 I continue to add detail with pencil into my drawing. I continue working on the medieval side of things but I also start to work on what’s in the sky

I plan to continue drawing.

Thursday 16/04/15 I continue to draw with pencil on my image, this time I focus on the futuristic side. I try to use different pencil for different mark making techniques.

I want to continue drawing and adding detail for now.

Friday 17/04/15 I kept on working on the futuristic side as well as making sure the perspective is correct everywhere and that scale is kept intact. I also started working on the middle road.

I want to continue the drawing.

Saturday 18/04/15 I continue on the drawing, focusing mainly on the middle road this time as well as making some changes to some already existing drawings within the image to better ones that I practiced on an A4 piece of paper.

I plan to continue the pencil drawing for now.

Sunday 19/04/15 I continue to draw with pencil, adding more detail to the general image.

I plan to move onto experimenting with the image in different ways.

Monday 20/04/15 I scan the image and make a copy of it, I then start practicing with it in water paint. I try different sizes of brushes and go over everything slowly.

I plan to continue working with the water paint tomorrow and see what comes of it.

Tuesday 21/04/15 I continue working with the water paints to finish coating the copy of the image with it, in the end however I find this techniques very ineffective and

I am going to move to digital and start working on the image in Photoshop.

find it that the quality is not up to the standard that I would expect of myself. I decide to scrap the image.

Wednesday 22/04/15 I moved into digital, using Photoshop and my tablet to paint, I first set about to layering everything so that it would be much easier to paint it without having to worry about fixing errors or overlapping issues.

I plan to start the actual painting of the image in Photoshop.

Thursday 23/04/15 I begin to paint using the previously done layering system. I first concentrate on the middle ground, adding different colours, shading effects and filters.

I plan to continue painting the image in Photoshop.

Friday 24/04/15 I continue to paint using my tablet within Photoshop, this time I focus on the medieval side and start painting in the ground and adding detail to it.

I plan to continue painting, mainly, the medieval side soldiers.

Saturday 25/04/15 I finish up painting the medieval side ground and begin to work on the soldiers individually, developing a colour scheme for the faction and applying it to the general army, then applying different filter and shadow effects by using different, closely related colours together.

I plan to continue to paint the image within Photoshop.

Sunday 26/04/15 I continue working on the medieval side, this time, working on the army that is in perspective much further away, I also finish up adding detail to those soldiers that are up close.

I plan to continue painting the image within Photoshop, specifically, moving onto the futuristic side this time around.

Monday 27/04/15 I move on with the painting onto the futuristic side painting, I start off with developing a colour scheme for this faction and begin to apply it to machines and humans alike that are up close perspective wise.

I plan to continue the works on the futuristic side of the painting.

Tuesday 28/04/15 I continue working on the futuristic side of things, adding more detail to the closely standing people and machines

I plan to continue working on the image in Photoshop.

as well as modifying the colour scheme a little bit for the machines to represent their roughness.

Wednesday 29/04/15 I move away from the closely positioned soldiers from the futuristic side and move onto the ones that are positioned much more further away perspective wise. I begin to apply colours to them as well as small amounts of details, I also begin to flesh out the general details within this faction.

I plan to continue to work on this image.

Thursday 30/04/15 I move onto working on the objects in the sky, I paint in the sky blue first and then start adding details such as birds and flying fireballs that were launched from the catapults on the medieval side.

I plan to continue painting within the image, specifically, the main objects within the sky.

Friday 01/05/15 I begin to paint in the dragon and the spacecraft that are fighting each other as the main elements within the sky. I also paint in the details that are related to those objects such as the rocks that the dragon is standing on and the lazer and the fire that is being launched into the air from both of them.

I plan to continue working on the spacecraft and the dragon within the next day.

Saturday 02/05/15 I continue to work on the dragon and the spacecraft, really fleshing them out and giving them a unique colour palette with their own effects. I also paint in the sun.

I plan to finish off anything that’s left to the image.

Sunday 03/05/15 I finish off any smaller amounts of detail that were left out as well as making sure that everything looks goods and that there are no problems left within the image. I then export the image into JPEG format.
