AS Coursework – Film Openings Name: STANGHELLINI Carlo Two Minute Film Opening: Dark Side There is evidence of excellence in the creative use of many of the technical skills. Footage: There is excellent controlled use of the camera with great variety of shots and attention to framing. Good attention to mise-en-scene. Great use of costume and location. Editing: There are very well placed cuts and transitions. A great attempt to add titles to show the conventions of the industry. Editing is effective and unnerving. Sound: The dialogue levels are clear and great use of music and sound effects to add tension. Overall: A very good film opening that fits the genre well, a professional looking film. Total 56/60 Level: 3
