TB Series High-Clearance Overview

The TB120 High-Clearance lets you put 96 PTO HP into rows of tall vegetables or specialty crops without worry of crop damage. TB series tractors are noted for their simple to use controls and reliable performance. The TB120 High-Clearance (HC) is based off of the rugged and reliable New Holland TB series All Purpose tractor. Design changes have been done to increase the ground clearance to 29.5 inches at the front axle with 12.4R 46 tires (13.6R 38 tires are also available). The TB120 High-Clearance model includes a semi-straddle deck, open operator’s platform and four wheel drive (FWD). Standard features include:

• Reliable 4 & 6 cylinder engines • Semi-straddle operator’s platform with easy to reach controls • Rugged 8x2 synchro mesh

transmission • High capacity 3-pt. hitch • Flip up hood for easy servicing • Two deluxe rear remotes

Three reliable transmission choices are available to match your needs: standard 8F x 2R constant mesh, optional 16F x 4R and optional 12F x 3R with creeper range. Transmission controls are conveniently placed at the right side of the operator.

TB Series Low-Profile Overview

The TB Series Low-Profile (LP) specialty tractor is available in two models; the TB110 LP, TB120 LP. These heavy duty tractors allow you to pull large implements and heavy loads with ease. TB series tractors are noted for their simple to use controls and reliable performance. The TB Series Specialty models are based off of the rugged and reliable New Holland TB Series All Purpose tractor. For the Low-Profile models the shift levers have been moved to the top of the transmission housing in the middle of the operator’s platform where they are protected won’t get snagged by branches. The wide coverage fenders are adjustable for different tire sizes and help protect fruit and tree branches from tire damage. On Low-Profile models the height to the top of the steering wheel is 72.5 inches. Low-Profile models include a straddle deck, open operator’s platform and a choice of either two or four wheel drive. Standard features include:

• Reliable 4 & 6 cylinder engines • Semi-straddle operator’s platform with easy to reach controls • Rugged 8x2 synchro mesh

transmission • High capacity 3-pt. hitch • Flip up hood for easy servicing • Two deluxe rear remotes

Three reliable transmission choices are available to match your needs: standard 8F x 2R constant mesh, optional 16F x 4R and optional 12F x 3R with creeper range.

Description of where the serial number tag, ROPS certification tag, engine emissions information and engine serial number are located on the tractor. Serial number locations are the same for Low-Profile and High-Clearance Models

The tractor serial number is stamped on the right side of the transmission housing, just in front of the operator’s platform.

A data plate giving ROPS information and identification is located on the right side of the ROPS structure on the inside.

A data plate giving engine and emissions information is located on the top of the engine valve cover

Large displacement engines are time proven and feature a durable dry sleeve design for extended life. The TB110 LP uses a turbo charged 4-cyl engine. The 6-cyl engine used in the TB120 LP and HC is naturally aspirated. Operators will notice the s34-40% torque rise to get them throug

any tough spots. These engines are approved for use with B20 biodiesel blends (meeting ASTM 6751 Standards).

Transmission options are available to suit your customer’s applications. The rugged 8x2 constant mesh transmission is known for its economical price and reliability. Upgrade to the 16x4 Dual Command

TM and at the push of a button you get a clutchless hi/low shift in each gear. The dealer installed creeper option adds a creeper range to the 8x2 transmission, making it a 12x3 creeper transmission. It has 1 reverse and 4 forward creeper gears for slow speed applications.

The standard 3-point hitch capacity for TB series LP and HC tractors is an outstanding 3,600 lbs (ASAE @ 24 inches). Adding optional external cylinders increases the capacity to 5,400 lbs (w/one cylinder) and 7,200 lbs (w/two cylinders). The hitch is mechanically controlled with two levers, one for position control and one for draft control. Draft sensing is done at the lower links, providing precise draft control when needed. Flexible link ends are standard, making implement hookup quick and easy. Telescoping stabilizers are also standard.

Quick response hydraulics are provided by independent implement and steering pumps to give you maximum hydraulic performance. The standard implement pump provides 9.3 gpm for the rear remotes, 3-point hitch and loader. An optional auxiliary pump (8.5 gpm) increases the implement flow rate to 17.8 gpm. Two deluxe rear remotes are standard equipment and include flow controls and adjustable detents. The 3

rd and 4th rear remote valves are optional (requires auxiliary pump) and can be factory installed or added at the dealership. The remote control levers and coupler dust covers are color coded for assisting in implement hook up.

Heavy duty steel fuel tank is located under the operator platform where it is easy to fill from the ground. The 37 gallon capacity allows the operator to work longer between fueling, increasing the tractor’s overall efficiency. Fuel tank does not interfere with visibility.

Fast and easy servicing. The TB features a one-piece, flip up hood with gas strut, allowing for fast and easy access to the battery, radiator and engine air filter. Engine oil level can be checked and topped off if necessary without raising the hood. The hydraulic oil level is easily checked from the rear of the tractor.

Step deck platform includes a rubber floor mat to reduce noise and vibration. The platform is sized for easy entry/exit from both sides. Steps and large grab handles are standard on both sides. Suspended brake and clutch pedals provide an uncluttered path to the seat and plenty of leg room. Take a seat in the comfort contoured seat and you can adjust your position and the steering wheel for maximum comfort.

Heavy duty front axles are available in 2WD or power enhancing FWD on the TB LP models and FWD only on the TB HC models. The 2WD axle utilizes the inverted U design used in other New Holland tractors. Double reduction axle shafts and large diameter bearings are used to increase the strength of the heavy duty FWD axle. The steering cylinders are tucked behind the axle where they are protected. Both axles offer excellent maneuverability and overall tractor stability.

Conveniently placed controls are within easy reach for the operator’s convenience. The transmission controls are located on the right side of the operator on the TB High-Clearance. On the TB Low-Profile, the transmission controls are located in the center of the transmission housing where they won’t get snagged by tree branches. Hydraulic controls are at the right side for both models. The PTO engagement lever is at the left side. An analog instrument cluster monitors 15 critical functions to keep you informed.
