GEBHARDT-STAHL has made steel green ... in

more ways than one: namely we incorporate

butyl, the green sealant, into our duct profiles.

This gives air ducts an extremely good seal,

makes them energy efficient, and ultimately en-

vironmentally friendly: i.e. green. All this saves

time and money during the installation proc-

ess. Therefore, at GEBHARDT-STAHL, we bring

‘Made in Germany’ right up to date and make it

relevant to today’s industry.

Environmental considerations, new material

combinations and surprising ideas are factors

which we apply again and again: for special

profiles for elevators, for machines, for shelves

... in fact, for whatever you want! What’s more,

in the field of air ducts, we are a single-source

supplier.

GEBHARDT-STAHL is strong when it comes to

expertise and young at heart... making waves

in the steel industry since 1973. Our first suc-

cesses came early on: In 1990, the first ware-

house was built; in 1993, the hall space was

doubled to 5,000 m²; in 2002, the new office

building was built and in 2004, another 2,500 m²

production area was added. Since 2010,

GEBHARDT-STAHL has been manufacturing at

its headquarters in Werl with significantly in-

creased capacity the company now has a total of

9,500 m² hall space. As far back as 2001, we set

up our affiliated company GEBHARDT-STAHL

Polska in Stare Miasto (Poland) in order to sup-

port the company. In addition to this, we have

manufacturing and warehousing capacity in

Dommershausen and Frankfurt/Oder. With a

total of ten section rolling mills, GEBHARDT-

STAHL processes 70,000 tonnes of steel annu-

ally, and this figure is growing. Reliable busi-

ness associates in the field of logistics and

manufacturing provide additional assistance.

Our key asset however, is not our state-of-the-

art rolling mills, the laser technology or the de-

sign tools/CAD systems... it’s the expertise of

our 120 employees. Consequently, in this point

as well, GEBHARDT-STAHL is somewhat differ-

ent to other companies. And as such, in over 40

countries worldwide, we are able to react very

quickly, provide immediate service and satisfy

(almost) all requirements.

Why choose seal class c + d profiles?

The target flow rates at the air outlet are achieved and the desired room air condition is assured

The target flow rates at the air outlet are achieved and the used air/harmful substances are channelled away optimally

Easy regulation of the system is possible, whereby the pressure level between the rooms is optimized

Prevention of particle and bacterial contamination

The filtered air remains clean

Reduction of odours

Improvement of the optical impression by avoiding dust through air leakage

The innovative, patented profiling guarantees high stability and assures simple/secure processing

Longitudinal edge sealing is not necessary and as such, this saves resources

Benefits at a glance:

1. The Premium 20 and Premium 30 profiles with butyl effortlessly achieve seal class D in accordance with DIN EN 1507 (incl. 100% installation allowance). This is of course certified by TUV Nord.

2. Compared to the conventional profile, the torsional rigidity of the premium profile is 20 times greater.

3. Together, the profile and corner piece form a rigid connection. Through the clinching of the premium profile, an extra rigid angular chamber is created. The torsional rigidity leads to outstanding handling and installation qualities of the profiles.

Engineers, builders and authorities require the best possible seals in duct systems. To achieve these seals, frames have had to be sealed by the manufacture using putty, etc. Our ‘P’ air duct system for class C seals dispenses with this the process as well as time and the sealant material itself. The refined profile also offers high levels of stability and allows easy installation.

the key benefits:

Due to well developed profiling, the best possible seal without the subsequent need for putty and/or injected sealants. Seal testing with TÜV certification.

On account of the 30 ° - double profiling and slant, a high level of stability without the usual leakage.

The web heights of our 20, 30 and 40 profiles are identical: therefore, only a slide rail or a threaded clamp for all sections.

Effortless insertion of the section on the fitting, as the lower section edge is longer than the top edge.

Also available: P 20/P 30 with butyl sealant. through this, the flange connections are suitable for realising class c seal (IV) systems (dIn en 1507).

the factors that matter:

Simple and quick to secure using a hammer

No need for welding, riveting or for the sheets to be edged

Increased resistance to being stripped away through an s-shaped metal sheet insert running in parallel

With an attachable elastic sealing washer

Corrosion-resistant due to galvanizing

Suitable for various metal thicknesses and materials

Also for the attachment of louvre blades in weather-proof grids

And used everywhere where T-shaped connections of metal sheets are necessary

The Gebhardt-Stahl sheet metal fastener has now been improved. Depending on the sheet thickness, the pull-off force of the new sheet fastener is now up to 2-3 times greater than conventional ones. This has been proven in various trials which have been set up to examine tractive forces. With regard to the hardness of the, thickness and accuracy of fit, the sealing washer has been optimised in such a way that the fastener is pressure tight when fitted professionally. With the additional Gebhardt-Stahl sealing pad, ‘every other’ fastener is also sealed tight.

Quick. Practical. Stable.

Significant savings in terms of material and time compared to conventional assembly systems

Suspension takes place at the most stable point i.e. the frame and not on the sheet, as is the case in conventional systems

Great improvement in overall stability as a result of the dual function, i.e. threaded clamp/slide rail and suspension all combined in one element

Easy installation. The slide assembly is attached using light hammer blows. It then sits securely and safely

Screwless assembly means that the duct surface is not damaged

Modular volume control damper system

JK-W-01-S (standard) The new ventilation louvre system from GEBHARDT-STAHL opens up a modular system with variable applications. Through the new driving mechanism which is achie-ved using aluminium cog wheels, the new ventilati-on louvre system from GEBHARDT-STAHL provides you with higher breaking resistance, no wear and as such, a long service life.

• Good flow characteristics as a result of a contra effect • Aluminium cog wheels, used both inside and outside the unit • Temperature resistance up to 80 °C with special plastic parts (on a short term basis, up to 180 °C) • Continuous screw ensures high stability

Installation instructions • In each case, the ‘arrows’ indicated on the cog wheels must point in the same direction on one side. When arranging the cog wheels on both sides, maintain the direction of the arrow. • In the case of units greater than a 12 lamellae drive, the equipment features double-sided cog wheels, a second drive axle and connecting rods (see accessories). • With sizes greater than 1200 x 1200 mm, frame reinforcement is achieved using a threaded rod. • Secure the drive axle with screws or rivets.• Only use L bearing caps for the left hand side and R bearing caps for the right hand side.

Pneumatic punch press

The pneumatic punch press is used for quickly connec-tions of flanges and corners in just 2-3 seconds. The screwed superstructure only requires a com-pressed air connection and ensures many years of fault-free use. The turnkey pneumatic drive allows you to be free of electrical connections.

Using time-controlled pneumatic components, the punching process is triggered without a footswitch. The patented tool holder allows the punching of 20, 30 and 40 model frames after the shortest of setting times with only one tool (no conversion necessary)!

Capacity: 4.0 t Prerequisite compressed air: 6 bar

Dimensions:depth: 400 mmwidth: 400 mm height: 600 mmweight: 68 kg

For proper operation of the punch press a compressor is required with the following specifications:

1.5 HP 220 volt 50 hertz 7.5 amps 8.0 bar 6 litres (210 litres per minute)
