High Voltage Apparatus Condition Assessment

M4100 Automated Insulation Analyzer This 10-kV Portable Automated Insulation Analyzer uses patented, state of the art technology to accurately evaluate the insulation quality of substation high voltage power apparatus even under conditions of high electrostatic and electromagnetic interference.

M5400 Sweep Frequency Response AnalyzerThe M5400 uses SFRA to detect hidden transformer faults. Use it to ensure transformer performance, reduce maintenance cost and optimize service life.

The M5000 SeriesDoble’s M5000 Series uses Sweep Frequency Response Analysis (SFRA) for detecting mechanical failure or movement of windings due to short circuits, mechanical stresses or transportation. The SFRA technique determines whether transformer repair is necessary without costly de-tanking.

Doble Test Assistant® Software Doble Test Assistant® Software is a comprehensive software tool for the collection, analysis and management of test results for the M-Series family of instruments. Doble Delphi DGA MonitorThe Doble Delphi is an on-line dissolved gas analysis monitor for detecting and tracking the deterioration of a power transformer. The Delphi can be mounted directly to a transformer valve. It is available as a hydrogen monitor or composite gas monitor. It uses proven fuel cell technology and optional micro-pump circulation for accurate measurements with easy to read alarms that appear on the

DOMINO® Family of Moisture Sensors The DOMINO® family consists of both permanent mount and portable instruments. Doble’s Moisture-in-Oil permanent mount sensors measure moisture in oil in terms of ppm and relative saturation as well as temperature.These sensors provide an extremely reliable measurement of the water content of electrical insulating liquids and other types of oils.

DOMINO® Permanent Mount SensorsAvailable in a variety of models, the DOMINO® continuously measures moisture content and temperature of electrical insulating liquids such as transformer oils. DOMINO® provides results in parts per million (ppm), temperature and relative saturation with accuracy consistent with

traditional laboratory titration methods.

DOMINO® USS – Ultimate Sampling SystemDOMINO® USS is a portable combination system, which consists of a moisture-in-oil sensor or a moisture–in-gas (dew-point) sensor or both. It provides a fast, convenient way to take high-quality samples.

F6150sv Power System SimulatorThe F6150sv is an enhanced all-in-one solution for testing protection relays and schemes in their environment, using power system conditions and events. It features WiFi, as well as expanded current capabilities with

prolonged power output. It also includes fiber optic and copper connections for sampled values applications. The F6150sv offers sampled values “Process Bus” and Station bus applications, and IEC61850 testing without the need for additional test sets – one F6150sv is all you need. The F6150sv can also be calibrated in the field with the F6080, saving time and ensuring accuracy of testing.

F6000 Family of Power System SimulatorsThe F6000 Family of Power System Simulators, software and auxiliary products are known for their accuracy, ruggedness and high output. These state-of-the-art lightweight products will provide an excellent suite of hardware and software to meet all your testing and simulation needs. Protection Suite Software SolutionsProtection Suite and Protection Web work together to form a file based management system for the field testing and administrative control of all relay testing.

Protection Suite is a technician’s control system to test and check complicated relaying schemes. PRC-005 compliant testing can be performed and all records kept electronically and stored via Protection Web on your company’s server for ease of NERC reporting and auditing.

Protection Web is a server-based application that collects and manages test results and reporting features tailored to NERC auditing and compliance. It is also used to assign administrative users and privilege settings. Host on your company's network or on a Doble server.

TDR900 Circuit Breaker Test InstrumentThe TDR900 provides efficient and accurate performance measurements to test all types of circuit breakers. It performs timing functions for up to 4 breaks per phase with motion measurements. The TDR900 allows simple to complex testing of circuit breakers using a single, rugged, field-portable instrument. The TDR900 is used with T-Doble software to control the instrument and organize circuit

breaker test plans and test types by user.

Circuit Breaker Testing

T-Doble Software T-Doble software enables users to make and compare breaker timing measurements, create easy to use test plans and view test results. With this software users can plot, overlay, analyze, and print data.T-Doble includes integrated support from Doble’s DTAWeb. Test result data and test plans can be imported from legacy TRX software and the TR3100.

TDR9100 Circuit Breaker Test InstrumentThe TDR9100 tests all types of breakers and performs main contact timing, motion, resistance and capacitance measurements. It features 4 breaks per phase, 3 motion channels and 6 event channels and can be ganged in sets of 2 or 3 to double or triple usable channels and main contacts for up to 12 breaks per phase.

The TDR Series Doble’s TDR Series for circuit breaker testing provide dynamic testing with high accuracy, unaffected by electrostatic and electromagnetic interference present in substations.

Substation Survey

DFA100 – Dielectric Fault AnalyzerDoble’s DFA100 a non-intrusive hand-held system is specifically designed to detect faults in grounded SF6 gas-insulated systems, such as Gas-Insulated Substations (GIS) and SF6 filled dead tank breakers. Use this hand-held, battery powered instrument to identify and locate partial discharge, particles and mechanical defects.

DFA100 – for Cable ApplicationsDFA100 for non-intrusive diagnosis of medium voltage cable terminations and cable joints.The DFA100 is a hand-held instrument for diagnosis of cable accessories. It is a battery powered instrument for detection and location of internal Partial Discharge (PD) in the insulation of cable accessories. The DFA100 includes an acoustic emission (AE) sensor and an acoustic wave guide consisting of insulated hot sticks.

LCM500 – Leakage Current MonitorThe LCM500 can be used for continuous monitoring of one or more arresters to investigate details in leakage current changes versus time. It can also be used for continuous registration in substations of big importance to the system operation reliability. Available solutions include on-line configurations using modem communication between LCM500 instrument and PC software.

PDS100 – Partial Discharge SurveyorThe PDS100 provides a non-intrusive complete substation PD survey capabilities. By simply walking around HV apparatus, sources of PD and external interference can be detected and identified. Routine RFI surveying will assist in locating PD activity while the apparatus is still in service.

PD-Smart – Partial Discharge TestingThe PD-Smart is capable of advanced partial discharge testing on all types of equipment such as transformers, cables, GIS and rotating machines. The PD-Smart can be used with Doble’s LF couplers or pre-installed HF couplers using the Bus Coupler Matching Unit. Equipped with a variety of noise suppression and interference rejection capabilities, the PD-Smart can handle on- line and off-line testing in the field or laboratory.

Partial Discharge Testing & Monitoring

PD-Guard – Partial Discharge MonitoringThe PD-Guard is a sophisticated on-line monitoring device that can be used to watch transformers, GIS, pot heads and other critical assets within your substation for signs of insulation deterioration and faults associated with partial discharge. The system is scalable allowing one PD-Guard to monitor several different types of apparatus through its centralized evaluation server. The PD-Guard will continuously watch your critical assets and its alarm system will notify you before partial discharge reaches a critical level.
