Enable the option to remove duplicate content.

1. Extended Product Greed with Editor: General Settings

To configure the extension, please go to admin panel -> System -> Configuration -> Amasty Extensions -> Extended Product Grid with Editor

If you choose “Yes” you will be able to sort attribute columns on the product grid.

Choose how many records per page will be displayed on the grid.

Choose ‘Multi Cell’ mode to save multiple edits in one go. When ‘Single Cell’ mode is selected, modifications are automatically saved one by one.

This setting allows adding different attribute columns to the grid for different admin users. It is very convenient if you have several product admins – each of them can add the column s that are necessary for him or her.

It is possible to show product categories on the grid and enable category filter. Please be aware that enabled category filter increases server load. Specify how many related

products, up-sells, cross-sells will be displayed on the grid.

When ‘Quantity Based Availability’ option is set to ‘Yes’, availability will automatically change to 'In stock' when quantity is positive and to 'Out of stock’ when quantity is zero or negative. Please set to ‘No’ if you prefer to indicate availability status manually.

To see product quantity sold during the certain time period on the product grid you need to specify the required calendar scale.

At the moment single cell editing is enabled. To edit some information (e.g. price) just click on the field you would like to edit. After you’ve entered the necessary info, please click any spot outside the field for the data to get saved.

Now multiple cell editing is enabled. To edit some information (e.g. quantity) just click on the fields you would like to edit. Multiple cell editing is more convenient when you edit large amount of information.

7. Mass Product Actions: General Settings

Select mass actions that you want to enable for your store.

You can use two rounding algorithms for ‘Update Price’ and ‘Update Special Price’ actions. If you indicate ‘by rules of mathematical rounding’ in this field , updated prices will be rounded to n.00, for example 3.57 and 8.32 will be rounded to 4.00 and 8.00 respectively. If you specify a value here, e.g. 0.5, prices will be rounded to n.50, so 3.57 and 8.32 would become 3.50 and 8.50.

In this field you can specify the attribute you want to copy for a certain product (for instance, description).

For categories-related actions you can either display the drop-down tree of categories or a multiselect field.

Specify attributes that should be replaced when the ‘Replace’ action is applied.

Choose positions for append text.

There are also settings for ‘Relate’, ‘Up-sell’ and ‘Cross-sell’ actions, which allow you to choose linking algorithms for these actions. There are three possible algorithms: Default, 2 Way and Multi Way: 1. ‘Default’ means, that relations between products will be built by the standard magento functionality (that is when you have to manually indicate related, up-sell and cross-sell items for each product). 2. ‘2 Way’ algorithm. For example you have ‘product 1’, ‘product 2’ and ‘product 3’. If you add ‘product 2’ and ‘product 3’ as up-sells (or related/cross-sells) for ‘product 1’, only ‘product 1’ will become an up-sell (or related/cross-sell) for ‘product 2’ and ‘product 3’. ‘product 3’ will not become an up-sell (or related/cross-sell) for ‘product 2’ and ‘product 2’ will not become an up-sell (or related/cross-sell) for ‘product 3’. 3. ‘Multi Way’ algorithm. Let’s say you have soap, shampoo and toothpaste. If you add shampoo and toothpaste as related (or up-sells/cross-sells) to soap, all these products will become related to each other – soap and shampoo will become related (or up-sells/cross sells) to toothpaste; toothpaste and soap will become related (or up-sells/cross sells) to shampoo.





A range of mass action is available on the product grid.

Massively product statuses right from the grid. You can also update attributes, remove or copy attachments.

Remember to mark all products you plan to modify.

Modify all types of prices to increase or decrease prices either by flat amount or by percent.

To decrease prices by 20%, indicate -20% in this field. To increase prices by 10%, indicate +10%. Specify +10 to increase prices by 10 dollars/euros/etc., and -10 to decrease prices by 10 dollars/euros/etc.

‘Relate’ action enables you to make products related. You also can easily remove relations via a mass action.

First select the products which you would like to relate. Then indicate id of the product to which you would like these products to be related and click ‘Submit’ button. The products will become related based on the algorithm that you choose at the configuration page (see page 5 of this user guide).

‘Up-sell’ and ‘Cross-sell’ actions work on analogy. They enable to you quickly assign up-sell and cross-sell blocks. You can choose linking algorithms for these actions at the configuration page.


12. Mass Product Actions: Relate Products



‘Copy Custom Options’ as well as ‘Copy Images’ and ‘Copy Attributes’ actions will enable you to quickly copy information from one product to many others.

Use ‘From Product ID’ field to specify id of the product, from which the information should be copied to the products you’ve selected. Then click ‘Submit’.

‘Change Attribute Set’ action will enable you to change attribute set of products (by one and in bulk).

Pick the necessary products, select the action, then choose the attribute set, which should replace the current one and press ‘Submit’.

VERY IMPROTANT. Please be very careful with changing attribute sets for configurable products. If the replacement set does not have an attribute on which the configurable product is based, there will be issues with display of the configurable product on the front end (the product page wouldn’t open properly).

‘Fast Delete’ action will let you delete any number of products very fast. In comparison with standard Magento ‘Delete’ action it works a lot faster and also allows to delete a much larger number of products in one operation.

Once you’ve chosen the action, please select the necessary products and click ‘Submit’ button. Please be aware that the action can’t be reverted, therefore please create a backup before using it.

16. AJAX Image Uploader: General Settings

You can choose the surface by which images should be dragged when their sort order is changed. It can be the whole image block, only the images surface itself or just the header of the image block.

Admin panel -> System -> Configuration - >Amasty Extensions -> Image Upload.

When editing a product you will find a new tab ‘Product Images’. It replaces the old ‘Images’ one.

To upload images for a product select the necessary images in your file browser on your computer, drag them to this area and drop there.


17. AJAX Image Uploader: Easily Add Product Images



Easily track progress of the image upload.





Once the images get uploaded, you can choose which of them should be used for thumbnail, small image and base image. You can also add labels for images, enable/disable images and delete them. IMPORTANT. Please be aware, that for the edits to get saved you need to click ‘Save’ or ‘Save and Continue Edit’ button.





If for some reason you don’t want to or can’t use drag-and-drop functionality to upload images - click ‘Browse’ button, then choose the images (either one or multiple in one go) and press ‘Open’ button to upload the images.





Change sort order of an image by dragging it to the appropriate position.

Please go to admin panel ->System -> Configuration -> Amasty Extensions ->Product Attachments

Specify the name of the product files block, which will be displayed at the product page.

Specify Attachments Block default visibility settings for different customer groups.

Enable this option to let customers open files right in the browser window instead of downloading them. The files will be open in a new tab.

Specify the Title (visible on frontend), File Name. Choose the file which should be uploaded to the product attachments section.

There are 3 ways to upload the files: choose them from your computer, use drag-and drop option or to specify the file URL.

To start adding product files, please go to Catalog > Manage Product > choose any product > Product Attachments tab

Drop files here to create a new attachment.

Use ‘Sort Order’ field to manage the order in which files are shown on front end.

Set up file visibility (it can be visible on product page or hidden when not needed).





Specify a group of customers to whom the attachment will be shown.

Choose ‘Yes’ to show product attachments only for ordered items.





You can add your own icons for the attached files (visible on frontend). To add new icons, go to: Catalog > Product Files > Icons > Add Icon. 9 icons are supplied with the module. If needed you can replace or delete them.

Specify the type of files, for which the new icon will be applied. You can specify several file extensions separated by comma.

This option will activate or deactivate the icon on product page. Upload the icon image.

To view download stats, please go to: Catalog -> Product Files- > Download Report.

You can analyze reports individually for each store view, or for all store views at once.

Report can be presented for a specific time period. Use From – To fields to set up the time period.
