Substrate pre-treatment / preparationEnsure that the substrate is clean, dry and free from dust, laitance, grease, oil and any other contaminants.

Mixing

Small pack

• Remove the resin container from the bucket.

• Remove the lid from the resin container and pour entire contents onto filler.

• Stir thoroughly with a slow speed mechanical agitator or stirring stick until the material achieves a uniform consistency.

• Leave for 1 minute and then remix thoroughly Small pack.

• Thoroughly mix the resin in the drum with a slow speed mechanical agitator and pour into a mixing bucket.

• Add filler to resin in the ratio of 1 part resin to 4 parts filler (always use full bags of filler) and stir thoroughly with a slow speedmechanical agitator until the material achieves a uniform consistency.

• Leave for 1 minute and then remix thoroughly.

Drying time• Rainproof: approximately 30 minutes

• Can be walked on / next layer applied: approximately 45 minutes

• Can be subjected to loads after: approximately 1 hour

Note: Drying times will be slightly increased at lower temperatures and slightly decreased at higher temperatures.

CleaningIf overlaid after more than 12 hours, clean with InStar Cleaner and overlay between 20 and 60 minutes after cleaning. Clean tools with specialist cleaner.

StorageResin: Can be stored unopened in a cool, dry, well ventilated place above freezing and out of direct sunlight for at least 6 months in the original container. If the contents have been opened re-seal ensuring the lid is air tight Avoid direct sunlight on site.
