C-one: single screw feeding unitC-one is CTS’s single screw feeding unit engineered in different sizes in order to feed powders, granules, pellet, flakes and fibres.

Available in volumetric or gravimetric versions. In the loss-in-weigh modules, an analogue load cell is installed guaranteeing a high weighing accuracy.

C-twyn: Twin screw feeding unitC-twyn is CTS’s twin screw feeding unit engineered in different sizes in order to feed powders, granules, pellet and flakes. C-flexy: Twin or mono screw feeding unit with flexible hopperC-flexy is CTS’s twin or single screw feeding unit engineered in different sizes that feed hard-to-flow materials, powders, granules, regrind and fibres.C-flexy-twyn and C-flexy-one are available in gravimetric or volumetric versions. In the loss-in-weight module, an analogue load cell is installed guaranteeing a high weighing accuracy.A principal feature of this equipment is the internal polyurethane hopper, which guarantees high flexibility. The material inside the flexible hopper is continuously kneaded by external paddles with adjustable speed in order to avoid bridging. Then, the product is constantly fed through a single or twin screw dosing device. In case of “very difficult” materials C-flexy is designed to allow the user to install a horizontal agitator in addition to paddles.It features an easy removal design for cleaning during a product change. The easy removal also allows a quick change from a single to a twin screw feeding device.C-flexy’s modular design achieves the highest standard of flexibility in the dosing market.

VIBRATING TRAY

Vibrating tray with electromagnetic drive.

C-vybro: feeding unit with vibrating trayC-vybro is CTS’s feeding unit with vibrating tray, engineered in different sizes in order to feed fragile, abrasive and free flowing materials, such as granules, flakes and fibres.

Available in gravimetric or volumetric versions. In the loss-in-weight modules, an analogue load cell is installed guaranteeing a high weighing accuracy.

A vibrating tray with an electromagnetic drive feeds the material at the throughput required. No mechanical friction during the dosing, allows the product to keep its characteristics without degradation.Different vibrating device and tray sizes allows the user to feed the product with any throughput accurately and with consistency.

C-lab is particularly suitable when a fast change of material is required. The detachable storage hopper (no tools required) allows the operator to replace the unit with a new one dedicated for the new product, avoiding any kind of product contamination.

C-multy: multi component dosing stationC-multy is CTS’s modular multi component continuous gravimetric feeding and blending station suitable for starve feed extrusion and “full” screw extrusion systems. The dosing station can be completely customized for the customer recipe. The entire range of CTS feeders can be combined in order to guarantee a constant flow of each component independently of product specifications.

The dosing station is available in 3 standard sizes, each able to house from 2 up to 8 single feeding units.Each individual component is separately fed through a loss-in-weight continuous system in to a common collecting hopper. The blend is immediately fed into the extruder inlet. It’s suitable for free flowing or non-free flowing products.

CTS’s modular dosing station can be modified in case of production changes.

C-view 4.0 explorer is the CTS complete supervisory system for a new process line or it can be retrofitted to an existing line, it is designed with a high level of modularity and allows the user to manage the system from material handling storage to conveying and/or dosing.

Based on industrial B&R technology, C-view 4.0 is a state-of-the-art solution to completely manage the extrusion line with an HTML user friendly operator interface which also allows easy access from smartphones and tablets guaranteeing the customer can continuously keep their business under control.

C-view 4.0 as with all CTS machines, integrates OPC-UA which allows information to be easily and securely exchanged between diverse platforms from multiple vendors at zero cost.

Thanks to this OPC technology C-view 4.0 saves engineering costs when exchanging process data between C-view 4.0 controlled machines and other process machines plus allows easy communication between a customer’s management software such as MRP, ERP or CRM.

Different options are available to control existing and/or new utilities.

Empty big bag stationC-ebbs is CTS’s solution to handle materials stocked in big bags. Every empty big bag model can be customized on the basis of the material to be handled and on the basis of the plant layout.

The empty big bag station is suitable for all bulk solid materials.The big bag can easily be fixed on the support frame by means of a forklift or by means of an electrical hoist in order to discharge the material in to the hopper below.

Discharge hoppers and unloading systems are available in different configurations, depending on the specific customer needs and on the product to be handled.

Empty bag stationC-ebs is CTS ’s solution to handle all materials stocked in bags.

The manual empty bags station makes it easy for the emptying of the bags by the operator. The unit is engineered to handle 25 kg bags (or bigger) containing powders (free or non-flowing), ground materials, pellets and flakes of different particle sizes.

The CTS empty bag station’s are equipped with a front door with integrated shock absorber, an internal grid, a support surface for the bags, sleeve filters and aspirators when required.

Jet filterC-jfc is CTS’s jet filter to de-dust air during material transport operations.

The jet filter C-jfc with its high filtering capacity is the best solution for dust collection. It’s particularly suited for automatic pneumatic conveying systems (vacuum or pressure) of dusty materials. The front or side door allows easy access to the filtering sleeves or cartridges in order to inspect them.

Jet filter uses a self-cleaning system by means of pulsed jets of compressed air, in this way most of the filtered powder returns back to the hopper or silo and the sleeves or cartridges are kept clean during the conveying phase.

Hopper loaderC-rvh is CTS’s vacuum conveying system.

The hopper loader is composed of a hopper with an integrated filter for granules or non-critical powders. The material is sucked by means of a single, double or triple stage side channel vacuum pump.

The material is discharged by means of a paddle. This unit, available in different volumetric sizes, can be perfectly integrated into all CTS or existing feeding systems.

C-dense: dense phase transportC-dense is CTS’s dense phase conveying system especially suited to transport abrasive, fragile and sticky materials.

The material inside the pipes is conveyed at low speed in order to avoid product degradation or separation and pipe wear. The material can be transported up to 500 meters and reach flow rates of up to 100 t/h. Another advantage is the significant energy savings made, thanks to the use of low volumes of air.

Boosters are installed on the dense phase line to facilitate the conveying over long distances avoiding pipe blockages. Boosters are driven by a dedicated line, taking air from a pneumatic cabinet.
