Immersion Heater is tubular heating elements filled with high grade insulation powder and kanthal coil at the center which is brazed to a brass flange stain-less steel flange. Heaters are nickel chrome plated and are provided with earthing terminals. A metallic cap is provided for protection of terminals.

HOT RUNNER COIL HEATERHot runner coil heater is typically used in area which has higher watt density requirements. The basic con-struction of these heaters involves swaging of com-pacted MgO, Nickel Chromium wire into a Chrome Nickel steel tube.

These heaters when swaged to provide maximum sup-port for the resistance wire. Eliminating the effects of vibration and shock.

MICA FLAT HEATER

Mica flat heater are made of helically wound resistance coil evenly stretched and strung through series of ceramics insulators. Resistance coil is mechanically connected to screw terminals or lead wires for positive connection. The elements assembly is electrically insulated and covered by metal sheating. Sheath metal selection of stainless steel 304, stainless steel 316 mild steel is available.

MICA BAND HEATERS

FEATURES:

Mica band Heater are made of an electrical resistance ribbon or wire, which is wound around a mica winding card and sandwiched between two sheets of mica, then wrapped in sheet metal. The resistance wire or ribbon that converts electrical energy to thermal energy is normally a nickel-chrmium alloy of either 80% nickel which is useful to 1,100°C or 60% nickel which is useful to 950°C. The mica is, most often, one of the three types: muscovite, useful to 500°C. phogopyte, useful to 750°C, and synthetic mica, useful to 900°C. T he sheet metal is normally either mild steel, Stainless steel, brass, Gl depending on the temp and the product to be heated. The maximum temp for mica band heater is 400°C.

Ceramic band heater are made of an electrical resistance helical coil, which is inserted around a series of interlocking steatite bricks of 1,100°C having physical and die electric strength and good thermal conductivity, covered with 4mm insulation and then wrapped in sheet metal. The resistance wire that converts electrica energy is a nickel-chromium alloy of 80% nickel normally termed as Ni-chrome. The sheet metal is stainless steel for temp up to 700°C.
