Our mission is to create top products and experiences in the historically rich and geographically unique region of Istria.
After many years of business, in 2006 we embarked on a new venture imbued with a passion for wine, history and nature. On the maquis covered and rocky cape of Savudrija, where in some places the land was never cultivated, we found a place where in the following years our idea merged with nature. In addition to the exceptional location, we were also enchanted by the properties of the area. The proximity of the sea here creates a special microclimate, dry and windy, greatly reducing precipitations, which is beneficial for both vines and healthy olive growth.
We entered the market in 2016 with Monterosso Malvasia 2015 wine and the multi-award winning extra virgin olive oil Monte Rosso. Monterosso Nero 2015 from the Montepulciano vine was launched in May 2017, and the first bottles of Monteclassico sparkling wine in the fall.

The wine is crystal yellow with a hint of fresh shades of green. The characteristic of Malvasia from the house of Monterosso is a mixture of playful freshness and elegant minerality that permeates the aroma and palette of this light dry wine, made exclusively from Istrian Malvasia. The rich aroma, whose harmony consists of floral notes of acacia, surrounded by citrus notes of nectarine and orange peel, is nicely rounded off with a hint of fresh pear and a hint of mint. The dry wine with a medium body combines the freshness of pure Malvasia with the rich but calm minerality of the Istrian soil into a pleasant and elegant fruit palette that ends with a touch of slightly bitter almonds in the aftertaste. It perfectly complements Mediterranean cuisine, especially white fish and white meat with side dishes of fresh vegetables.

Elegant and harmonious red wine, medium-bodied Montepulciano variety from hand-picked grapes from our own Istrian estate.
Nerone is beautiful ruby red with a crystal reflection, noble aroma and harmonious taste. From the Monterosso wine family, Nerone has the richest aroma with pronounced notes of berries, among which raspberries and wild blackberries predominate. Fruity notes imperceptibly spill over the licorice into the scent of dark chocolate, wrapped in velvety vanilla and noble cedar. Full-bodied, dry wine in which the freshness of the tannins and the softness of the warm fruity taste of the berries are harmoniously intertwined with an admixture of cocoa beans that turn into noble cherries in the aftertaste. The wine goes well with well-seasoned beef, smoked meat dishes and rich chocolate desserts.

The wine is crystal yellow with a hint of fresh shades of green. The characteristic of Malvasia from the house of Monterosso is a mixture of playful freshness and elegant minerality that permeates the aroma and palette of this light dry wine, made exclusively from Istrian Malvasia. The rich aroma, whose harmony consists of floral notes of acacia, surrounded by citrus notes of nectarine and orange peel, is nicely rounded off with a hint of fresh pear and a hint of mint.
