• Farmer’s Associations compete within the four Meatco procurement regions (Communal, Otavi,Okahandja, Windhoek)

• Each Farmers’ Association should enter a minimum of 16 cattle

• The competition looks at Farmers Associations with the best quality animals entered

• Cattle are judged on the hoof a day prior to slaughtering and compared with grading by Meat Board

• A national winner is then announced
