Process Pipe Cell (PPC) Key Plant Process Pipe Cell (PPC) is a compact GMAW manipulator with programable oscillation that is designed to greatly increase productivity in the pipe welding industry. Various welding power sources and wire feeders can be used including Miller PipeWorx and Lincoln Power Wave® systems. The Key Plant KP-OP Welding Head Oscillator is a recent technological development in our range of welding oscillation systems.
During the arc welding process, it is sometimes desirable to oscillate or weavethe welding head for certain applications.This can either be performed manually by the operator moving the weld torch or by automation.
The KP-OP oscillator greatly improves the quality and consistency of the mundane and repetitive MIG welding operations - fully automating the weld process thereby reducing operator errors.This will help with sidewall fusion, reduces undercut, and is essential when performing many cladding or overlay operations.
The KP-OP oscillator is also fully programmable, with a digital display, allowing you to select the torch’s dwell time at the left, right and centre points of its path. This can be either preset or adjusted during operation.
