Apprenticeships @ CATCH
CATCH has the capability to deliver a wide range of Apprenticeships. In partnership
with selected training providers, we aim to provide realistic working experiences in addition to basic workshop and plant operations training.
Process Operations • Starting with Basic Unit Operations Cogent (VQSET NVQ2) extending to train-
ing preparation to Cogent (VQSET NVQ3). C&G060 or BTEC (to HNC) educa-
tion.
Mechanical • Clients and Contractors are serviced from this pool. Training is focused on
Engineering Maintenance (Cogent or SEMTA NVQ3 + C&G or BTEC (HNC)). or
Engineering Construction (ECITB NVQ3 + C&G).
Electrical/Instrumentation
• Clients and Contractors are serviced from this pool. Training is focused on
Electrotechnical skills (ECITB NVQ3 + C&G), E&I Maintenance or Power and
Control services (Cogent or SEMTA NVQ3 + C&G or BTEC (HNC)).
Plate/Fabrication
• Contractors are the prime focus for these groups. Training is
focused on Engineering Construction in workshop and site envi-
ronments. (ECITB NVQ3 + C&G 2456)
