The Dosha Oil/Massage Oil applied to the body of a person is specially prepared for each individual. The applied warm oil will help in enhanced assimilation of the oil into the skin and thus letting the blood to pass the herbs and the oil all over the body to execute the detoxification.

The heat caused by the strokes and the procedures of the massaging are also a key factor in the process of absorption.

Steam Bath Next step is the steam bath which

will last for 10-15 minutes as determined by Dosha. Once the client is zipped in the steamer, the therapist will position a towel around the neck so that the steam will not leak out of the steamer through the neck portion of the client. The user should be watchful not to get contact with the steam pot under the chair. Once in the steamer the user is asked to remove the sarong so the circulation of the steam will be even. A provision to unzip the steamer zip is given to the

user if he feels excess heat. When the therapist realizes that the client has been in the steamer for adequate time he will unzip the steamer zip and it will be good for the customer to be in the chair for another minute or two to cool down before stepping out of the steamer. The customer is advised not to put his whole weight, while stepping out, on the steamer frame.

Apply Herbal Paste/Scrub

The next step is the application of the herbal paste/scrub.

After wiping off the surplus

moisture from the steam bath, the client has to go back to the massage bed and lie on the back. To be fully covered with the herbal paste client needs to turn side from the position he is lying. Next is to allow the paste to be absorbed by the skin when it becomes dry. The scrub which is very rich in vitamin A and C, exfoliates but get absorbed and acts a as a purifier of the blood.
