Probiotics are live bacteria and yeast that are good for our health, especially for digestive system.
Probiotics are often called as good or helpful bacteria.
They are naturally found in our body. We can also find them in some food and supplements.
WHAT ARE PROBIOTICS ??
People use probiotics to prevent diarrhea, gas and cramping caused by antibiotics.
Antibiotics kill good bacteria along with bad ones thus leading to decrease in beneficial bacteria. Probiotics help replace lost beneficial bacteria.
Decrease in benificial bacteria may also lead to infections like urinary tract infections (UTI).
