In spite of that, generation after generation, the Japanese society continues to pay little attention to these so-called ethnic minorities. History shows that the majority, or people with power in a society, fight for their own interests and tend to oppress any kind of minority. Therefore, it is necessary for a society, in order to protect its diversity and the rights of its citizens, to value people's individuality (an equality that recognizes differences). Foreigners who are permanent residents in Japan have a role in the country's daily-life. They also are members of Japanese society. Wishing to finish with prejudice and discrimination, and to build an ample multicultural society, KFC moves forward with its activities.
