TEAM: ENTERPRISE DATA WAREHOUSE (JAN’14 – PRESENT)

Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) is a system used for reporting and data analysis. Data Warehouse’s is central repositories of integrated data from one or more disparate sources. They store current and historical data and are used for creating trending reports for senior management reporting such as annual and quarterly comparisons.

Role and Responsibilities:

As an ETL Tester writing query based on ETL spec developed by Business analyst.Execution of the Query on different environments databases ex. Teradata, Oracle.Validation of data between Oracle & Teradata.Validating data in extract files, csv file etc.Comparison of data using SAS tool with the developer’s data.Creating Test plan and Test cases as per requirement.QA signoff on the basis of SAS comparison result.

TEAM: CENTRAL TEST SUPPORT (JAN’13 – DEC’13)

Central Test Support (CTS) is a group of support E2E Automation Regression & Smoke test creation, maintenance and execution. They provide technical support to other automation teams for various projects in HPHC. End to End testing covers integrated testing of different components of the HPHC SOA components, user interface, databases scheduled jobs etc. Filled with challenges, solution is provided with different tools.

Involved in creation of .VBS file using VB Scripting to compare data between two databases i.e. development and production.
