Metro Parcel Pick Up

Queensland Country bound parcels must bebooked and ready for 3rd Cycle pick up.Please refer to your Zone A South EastQueensland Delivery Schedule or ask yourcourier for booking times in your area.

Size & Weight Restrictions

Each parcel to 25kg dead weight or cubicequivalent .464 x .464 x .464 x 250 whicheveris greater, requires 1 Metro coupon + therequired amount of Ezylink coupons. Themaximum length is 1.8 metres.

Parcels between 26-40kg dead weight or amaximum cubic .585 x .585 x .585 x 250equivalent =50kg, require 2 metro coupons +the required amount of Ezylink coupons.

Charges

Each and every parcel requires the correctamount of Metro Coupon/s and requiredEzyLink Coupons. Prices and service maychange without notice.

Proof of Delivery (POD)

Actual times of delivery cannot be provided,and POD is unable to commence until afteradvertised service times are exceeded.

Deliveries

Courier deliveries will only be made to streetaddresses with boundaries defined andrecognized by town/city councils. Note:Deliveries addressed to remote areas/propertieswithin postcode zones may require depotcollection. Service and delivery times may beaffected by road and weather conditions.

Re-delivery Charges

All parcels require a signature from the receiver.In the event that the parcel is consigned to ahouse, property, building site, business orindividual and no one in authority (the receiver)is immediately available to provide theirsignature, then a card will be left notifying acontact number for the courier or agent.

If the receiver requires the parcel to be re-delivered, the carrier reserves the right tocharge a re-delivery fee to be paid by thereceiver at the time of re-delivery. Alternativelythe receiver can arrange to collect the goodsfrom the courier/agent’s depot at no cost.

Contractor Network

Couriers Please Pty Ltd, as an independententity, co-ordinates courier services and thesale of coupons as a service to a network ofseparate and independently owned andoperated private transport operators, includingthe Contractor. The logo or phrase “CouriersPlease” is only used by the network of separateand independently owned and operated privatetransport operators, including the Contractor,under an agreement with Couriers Please PtyLtd and Couriers Please Pty Ltd is not aprincipal or agent of the network of separateand independently owned and operated privatetransport operators, or the Contractor.

Dangerous Goods

We DO NOT carry Dangerous Goods on ourQLD Country Service.

Cheque on Delivery (COD) & Receiver Pays (RP)

Please note we are unable to provide a COD orRP service to QLD country service areas.

Note 1Maximum weight of individual parcels is not toexceed 40kg in dead weight or 50kg cubic - see Size and Weight Restrictions.

Note 2Maximum length is 1.8m

Note 3Any items classed as dangerous goods are notaccepted, i.e. gas bottles, flammables,corrosives, pressure packs or dry ice.

Note 4Fragile goods are carried at consignors risk only.We recommend strong, secure packaging for allfragile goods, and that fragile items be insuredbefore despatch.

Note 5If sending multiple parcels to one receiver, addressand apply coupons to each parcel, then numberthem “1/3, 2/3, 3/3” etc. This ensures all parcelstravel together and are delivered at the one time.

Note 6To enable prompt delivery, ensure both thesender’s and receiver’s name, address andphone number are on each individual parcel.

Note 7Freight cannot be delivered to Post Office (PO)box numbers or mail service (MS) numbers.

Note 8Each and every parcel requires the correct amountof metro coupon/s and required Ezylink coupons.
