a vertical separationof not less than 2 metresbetweenthe baseof the leach drain andthe highestrecordedirrigation areagroundwaterlevel or bedrock;
b horizontal separationof not less than 100 metresbetweenthe disposalsystemandexistingdrains,water coursesor water bodies;
c The area aroundeach disposalsystemshall be plantedwith indigenoustrees andshrubsand be maintainedto the satisfactionof the Council;
d Preventionof direct movementof wastewaterand nutrient from the locality of eachdisposalarea;
e The landownershall be responsiblefor ensuringthat the systemis maintainedto theoperationalstandardsrequiredby the Health Departmentof WesternAustralia, andthe Council;
0 The above requirementsmay be varied by resolution of the Council subject to theapprovalof the EnvironmentalProtectionAuthority, the HealthDepartmentof WA andthe Departmentof Planning and Urban Development,to reflect changesin effluentdisposalsystemtechnology.

18. The land is to be managedin such a manneras to avoid the land being laid bare ofvegetationresulting in loose, wind erodible conditions.Clearingis prohibitedexceptwithinthe building envelopeandfor vegetationthat has to be removedto makeway for fences,firebreaks,and accessways.
19. The Subdividershall undertakea treeplantingprogramon lots nominatedby Council asbeing deficient in vegetationcover. The subdivider shall within the ‘Tree PlantingArea’as nominatedby Council, plant indigenoustreesandshrubsof a speciesandat a densityanddistributionto be determinedby the Council. Treeplantingshall beundertakenby thesubdividerto the satisfactionof the Council prior to the issueof clearancesby the Councilfor the subdivision of the land. As a guide tree plantingshall be designedto achieveanultimate canopycover on each lot of not less than thirty percentof the areaof that lot.
20. In additionto othertreeplantingareasa Tree PlantingArea not less than twentymetresin width shall be providedalongsidethe Highway Reserveboundariesto the satisfactionof the Council.
21. The subdividershall eithercauseto maintainthe treesandshrubsplantedwithin the‘TreePlanting Area’ to the satisfaction of the Council until the land is sold, or shall plantsufficient numberof trees,andshrubsto achievean effectivethirty percentcanopycoverafter allowance for natural loss.
