Whether analyzing properties of nanomaterials or observing celestial

While state-of-the-art hardware can deliver single-photonsensitivity, associated software tools leave much to bedesired. Too often, a researcher’s early enthusiasmfor their new hardware quickly wanes as thepoor design and inherent limitations of theaccompanying software become apparent.

We’ve raised the bar!At the beginning of the LightField design project,Princeton Instruments had a fundamental choice to make.

We could either simply update an existing softwarepackage, like most companies do, or we could createsoftware entirely from the ground up, based on more than

30 years of application experience and feedback fromthe world’s leading laboratories. We chose the latterapproach.
