the following sounds from Phase 3 and Phase 5. ear, air, ure, ai/ay, oi/oy, or/au/aw. (Or choose sounds that your child needs help with. See the phase 3 and Phase 5 sound mat at the end of this plan.) e.g. say to children can you write the ‘sh’ sound, can you write the ‘ch’ sound. Where children know more than one grapheme for each phoneme, encourage them to remember as many different spellings as possible. E.g. for the ‘ai’ sound they can write it as ‘ai’, a_e or ‘ay’.  Practise reading words with ‘w’ and ‘e’ sounds by playing Play Buried Treasure.
