HE IS RISEN” ALLELUIA Dear Parishioners, This is a day of celebration. This day Christ our brother broke the chains of death and rose in triumph from the grave. He did this not just for himself, but for all of us. He wants us to share in his great victory over sin and death. “Where, O death, is your victory? Where O death is your sting?” (1 Cor 15:55) Christ’s death, conquered our death. The cause of death is sin. Christ conquered sin. Christ destroyed the heritage of sin at its roots. Christ’s resurrection is the central truth of our faith. It is the solemn seal of Christ's divinity and the truth of his gospel. It is the victory of life over death, of hope over despair. It is the promise and pledge of our own resur-rection. The Easter message is a message of life, the life of Christ present in his church. It is a message of victo-ry of good over evil, love over hatred, unity over rival-ry, generosity over selfishness, peace over violence, co-existence over strife, justice over iniquity, truth over falsehood. It is a message of victory, of forgiveness, of mercy, and reconciliation. With Christ the Risen Lord, and with the Joy and Hope He gives let us make all things new. With Christ the Risen Lord, let us be Easter People! Alleluia.. Alleluia.. Alleluia.. I wish you all a Blessed and Happy Easter. May the Peace, Hope and Joy that Jesus brings this Easter abide in you, in your loved ones and in your family.

Quiere compartir su gran victoria sobre el pecado y la muerte. "¿Dónde, oh muerte, está tu victoria? ¿Donde oh muerte tu aguijón?" (1 Corintios 15:55) La muerte de Cristo, conquisto nuestra muerte. La causa

de muerte es pecado. Cristo conquistó el pecado. Cristo destruyó la herencia del pecado en sus raíces. La resurrección de Cristo es la verdad central de nuestra fe. Es el sello solemne de la divinidad de Cristo y la verdad de su Evangelio. Es la victoria de la vida sobre la muerte, de esperanza en la desespe-ración. Es la promesa y el compromiso de nuestra propia resurrección. El mensaje de Pascua es un mensaje de vida, la vida de Cristo presente en su iglesia. Es un mensaje de victoria del bien sobre el mal, el amor sobre el odio, la unidad sobre la rivali-dad, la generosidad sobre el egoísmo, paz sobre vio-lencia, convivencia durante los conflictos, la justicia sobre la iniquidad, la verdad sobre la falsedad. Es un mensaje de Victoria, de perdón, de misericordia y reconciliación. ¡Con Cristo, el Señor resucitado y con la alegría y la esperanza que El nos da, hagamos todas las co-sas nuevas. Con Cristo, el Señor resucitado seamos Gente de Pascua! ¡Aleluya... ¡Aleluya... ¡Aleluya... Les deseo una bendita y feliz Pascua.
