Do you need a break from Christmas shopping or entertaining the excited kids on the build up to Christmas Day? Then look no further than Basingstoke Country Hotel for a well deserved chill-out. We’ll do all the running around in Scures Brasserie, introduce the kids to Santa who will give them a little treat and all you have to do is relax and savour the good food.

Check in anytime after 2pm and then take advantage of the wonderful indoor pool, or perhaps enjoy a relaxing Jacuzzi before the evening’s fun begins or why not treat yourself to some pampering in our Beauty Treatment rooms? Make sure you pack your finest attire to start your celebrations with a Champagne cocktail reception in the Cocktail Bar. Move on to the Restaurant and savour the delights of our six-course celebration dinner, plus coffee and chocolates plus half a bottle of excellent red and white wine each. Afterwards our resident DJ will keep you entertained well into 2013. Don’t worry about a taxi home as you will then enjoy a wonderful nights sleep in one of our luxurious bedrooms followed by a relaxing brunch in the morning.

Do you fancy a room all to yourself? If you want to hold an exclusive party for your guests in one of the private suites, then speak to the Events Team who will go through the details with you. There are a mixture of rooms available, from the self-contained Naseby and Woodland Suites seating up to 160 guests to the more intimate Boardroom which is designed for parties of up to 12 guests. The beauty of holding your own party is that you get to decide when you want to hold it. Perhaps you want to celebrate early, or if December is just too busy you can postpone it and have something to look forward to in January. Terms and Conditions:

Please send a £10.00 deposit for each guest within 10 days of making your party night reservation to guarantee your booking. You should settle the final balance four weeks before your event. If you make a booking within four weeks of arrival you will need to pay the full balance straight away. All accommodation must be fully pre-paid at the time of booking. All payments are non-refundable, please ensure everyone in your party knows this. You can add to your booking at any time (subject to availability), but if you need to reduce numbers, you won’t receive a refund and your deposit cannot be transferred to cover drinks or accommodation. If we have to cancel a party or change the entertainment, you’ll be informed and may be offered an alternative event or a refund. You’ll be given a separate contract for bookings of over 10 guests. If a specific pre-ordered wine is unavailable, you’ll get one equally as good or better. If you have any special dietary needs, please let us know in advance of your booking and we’ll put together a suitable menu for you. Dinner service will begin promptly, but will be staggered so please arrive in good time so as not to inconvenience other guests. Bedrooms will be available from 2.00pm on the day of arrival. All prices include VAT at the current rate.

Liabilities – The hotel shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing any of its obligations under this agreement or liable to an attendee or guest for any loss or damage to property if the failure or delay was due to any cause beyond its reasonable control.

Room allocation and seating arrangements – Unless stated in the brochure the party location will be determined by the hotel. We reserve the right to split larger parties into smaller groups or smaller parties to be joined with other groups, the table plan for the night will be decided by the hotel, dependant on final number for each function.

Pricing – The hotel reserves the right to increase the level of VAT subject to legislative increases. All prices include items as described in this brochure, although menu substitutions are possible depending on availability of ingredient.
