Introduction

The Kia Charge Service rates are governed by the maximum charging speed, for which a fastcharging speed usually also implies higher costs. Reduced charging rates from preferredpartners, such as IONITY, may be regarded as exceptions.

The Kia Charge Service differentiates the following charging speeds:

AC charging capacity of the charging station up to a max. of 22 kW capacity(AC – alternating current)DC charging capacity of the charging station up to a max. of 100 kW capacity(DC – direct current)HPC charging capacity of the charging station from 100 kW capacity(HPC – high-power charging)

Please note that the transaction units for charging in public areas may vary due to regulatoryrequirements in the individual European countries. A transaction is differentiated in terms ofkWh, time (min.), or by charging event. All prices are individually based on charge pointoperators. A variable tariff applies with regard to the individual charging process. The pricesdepend on respective charge point operators. For charging abroad (= e-roaming), you willalways pay the local sales rate without any additional fees.

The rates that apply to an individual charging event at the respective charging station can befound in the Kia Charge app and are subject to change. Please familiarise yourself with theapplicable rates before commencing the charging event.

Kia Charge Easy is perfect if you only occasionally charge at public charging stations. It givesyou the freedom to access most UK charging stations – with no monthly subscription fee. Youcan add a bp pulse subscription to this tariff to benefit from the best value when using bppulse charging points.

Charging Event Transaction

The invoicing of varying fees for charging is based on the appropriate tariff per minute (percommenced minute), per kWh or per charging event. The charging event starts if the vehicle isconnected to the charging station and ends when it is disconnected.You can also recharge forfree using the Kia Charge service at free charging stations.
