End of Course (EOC) Tests: Recommendations Beginning with the freshman Class of 2009-2010, replace
the GEE with End of Course Tests To graduate, a student would have to have a “verified

The state will offer at least 2 EOC tests in each of the core subject areas
The EOC test will count as part of the student’s grade, with BESE establishing a minimum percent
The Accountability Commission needs to recommend how to integrate EOC tests into high school accountability
Funding Request:• Test Development and Administration • On-line tutorial for students• Professional development for teachers• Technology funds for high schools

Migrant Data for migrant students must be collected
and reported COE on file for Migrant Student
• COE is the official paperwork that makes the student "migrant."
Before testing begins, the principal should code this section on hand-coded answer documents.
For the precoded students, the data will be pulled from the state data base.
This field should be coded only for students who have an approved certificate of eligibility (COE) on file, not for students who may be migrant but do not have a COE on file.
