PRESSRELEASE April 2013 - HARLEKIN MOUNTAINS & WOOD WITH BEAR AND DEER Lilesadi is the emerging label of textile and surface designer Dinah Smutny and her twin sister Sarah. They share the same passion to bringing pureness and poesie in our everyday life. Their new collection ‘Wood with bear and deer’ has been inspired by the creatures of the forest. Both animals are strongly associated to the forest and are full of poesy. Take a nightly walk through the forest and hear the leaves whistle, smell the humid moss and the mushrooms on the ground and meet the lovely bear and maybe you get a glimpse on the shy deer. The use of black and white graphical lines create a strong contrast to the mysterious theme. Harlekin Mountains references to the sunset over the mountains and has been translated into geometrical shapes. Beautiful pastels are combined with anthracite and blue. ‘Harlekin mountains’ and ‘wood with bear and deer’ are designed to playful mix and matching. The collection consists of table place mats , cushions, scarfs and baby bibs.
