Thomas is well known for her role as the CFO of LG. She will be replacing Robert Smith starting April 12 and is eager to push the industry and new technology to bigger and better things, said CEO Matt Hayworth. “Sophie Thomas is going to be a great fit here at Solar Tech,” Hayworth said. “What she did over at LG has everyone here excited and she is going to be what we need to get us to the next level in solar technology.” Thomas, 42, served as CFO for LG for the past 12 years. Before that she was working for Toshiba in their marketing department. Sophie graduated from Florida State University with a masters in marketing in 1992 and a bachelors in business from North Carolina University in 1989. “I am very honored and appreciative for this opportunity,” Thomas says. “I have always be interested in solar power and I am a bit of an environmentalist so whenever I can help I will.” Thomas has just started this past Monday in her new position and with the start of a new quarter she will be in the spotlight and pushing for bigger and better innovations.

Solar Tech Industries announces new CFO
Solar Tech Industries has named Sophie Thomas the new CFO, Chief Financial Officer. Thomas is
well known for her role as the CFO of LG. She will be replacing Robert Smith starting April 12 and is
