Latin Fashion Week Presents “Ola” at New York Fashion Week

New York, NY, 08.20.2012: On September 15, 2012, Latin Fashion Week is coming to New

York Fashion Week to present “Ola”. Ola is a fashion, art, beauty, and music showcase that

features Latin and multicultural designers and talent. Ola was created as an extension of the

Washington, D.C. based Latin Fashion Week.

Ola is a unique event because it brings a fresh perspective to New York Fashion Week. Ola

encourages and promotes diversity as well as uniting different cultures through fashion, art,

and music. Additionally, Ola is about giving talented emerging designers the opportunity to

meet the media, network with industry peers, and most importantly, have their work viewed

during New York Fashion Week. Ola features designs by Adolfo Sanchez, K James Couture,

Maurizio Alberino, and Xcluzv.

Adolfo Sanchez started his line in 2006, after working for top retailers such as Carolina

Herrera, Versace, and Gucci. Adolfo Sanchez understands that woman is multi-faceted,

independent, and desires high fashion but at accessible price point. In essence, the Adolfo

Sanchez brand offers women’s ready-to-wear, accessories, small leather goods, and bespoke

customization. Adolfo Sanchez is currently sold in upscale boutiques and online stores

throughout Southern California.

K James Couture is specialty heel line created by designer, Kate Ferguson. K James Couture is

based in Los Angeles and the crystal encrusted heels are designed and created by Ferguson

herself, making each pair truly couture and 100% unique. Kate Ferguson has designed for the

likes of Katy Perry, Kristin Cavallari, and Rihanna. Fashion forward, empowering and one-of-a-

kind – K James Couture will make you the most envied girl on the block.

Maurizio Alberino is synonymous with care and attention in conducting suits, shirts, and

accessories for men, a complete line ranging from sportswear to formal wear. Alberino mixes

originality in design, traditional Neopolitan sartorial, careful selection of fabrics and modern

production techniques to make each piece unique. All garments are produced in Italy and the

recipe is based on simplicity as well as excellent quality and price. Alberino is a lifestyle, able to

Xcluzv Lifestyle Brands Inc. creates women’s swimwear and fitness wear evoking the sensual

broadening the awareness of Latin Fashion Week. In essence, Latin Fashion Week will present

“Ola” at New York Fashion Week on September 15, 2012 at Solo Event Space from 6-10pm.
