PAD PARIS 2019 EDITORIAL

Key event for international Art and Design enthusiasts and collectors, PAD Paris returns to Les Tuileries from April 3 to 7, 2019 for a promising 23rd edition.

PAD Paris is evolving to create new dialogues between Modern Art, Historical and Contemporary Design, Jewellery, Primitive Arts, and to affirm an original identity and a unique point of view on the Art of Living and Collectible Design.

PAD Paris invites us to discover the eclectic universe of a sharp selection of French and international gallery owners, to whom it offers an intimate setting, like a vast cabinet of curiosities.

PAD Paris offers a public of enthusiasts an exceptional journey through the creation, but also between the specialities and personalities of the gallery owners.

Studio PAD 2019 is designed by Pinto Paris.

PAD PRIZE PARIS 2019JURY 2019

PAD Prize 2019, chaired by Marie-Laure Jousset, gathers a jury of collectors, curators, architects and interior architects specialised in Design.

The jury of PAD 2019 will designate the prize for the Best Stand, the prize of Contemporary Design, the prize of the 20th Century Design and the prize of the Young Designer.

This year, the decor of Studio PAD Paris is entrusted to the Alberto Pinto Agency.

Studio PAD 2019 – The PINTO BungalowThis year the PAD Paris faithful will be welcomed to the Pinto pier. A bungalow space facingthe open sea, comfortable long bench, straw and wood furniture : an elegant invitation forrelaxing and being in a vacation state of mind. And as always at the Pintos, a beautifully set table, the promise of a convivial moment to be shared together.

New collection COTTAGE by PINTO Paris.Pinto has taken a new approach to country furniture working with massive oak and naturalstraw in traditional French workshops, the woods are shaped in modernist forms while the straw takes the look of a graphical and colorful tartan plaid. Pinto Paris puts the accent ona sophisticated conception which as usual makes the perfect furniture for refined eclectic interiors.
