MIKE MAHER

Mike Maher is a Milwaukee-based songwriter, whose unique style

combines Jazz, Americana, Blues, and traditional Rock ‘n’ Roll. Maher’s

sound is both refreshingly new and vaguely familiar by paying tribute to

historic artists like Stevie Wonder, James Taylor, Frank Sinatra, Horace

Silver, Billy Joel, Paul Simon, Neil Young, Dave Brubeck, Herbie

Hancock, Chicago, The Doobie Brothers, James Brown, Carole King,

Van Morrison, and others. Maher’s poetic lyrics and melody-driven

themes are supported by rich vocal harmonies, progressive jam

sections, and well-crafted instrumental arrangements.

Maher’s music has captured the imaginations of a wide variety of

audiences at festivals, clubs, exclusive events, private parties, coffee

shops, and independent radio stations across the Midwest since 2006.

Maher frequently performs as a soloist as well as with his 7-piece touring

band that features one of the finest horn sections in the region.
