Oui  have  been  adoring  Laggridore’s  tres  jolie  powder  perfume

and  gold  box).    What  could  be  inside  the  rather  regal  velvet  taf-­

feta  pouch?  Out  wafted  a  light-­as-­air  whisper  of  perfume  before  

we’d  even  opened  the  clasp.

Inside  is  the  most  perfectly  imprinted  perfume  powder  compact,  

way  too  beautiful  to  dip  into  but  we  did,  and  the  green  and  white  

floral  fragrance  has  “spring”  written  all  over  it  –  it’s  as  gorgeous  

as  the  jewel  case  itself.

ThereThere  are  no  glittery  particles  –  instead,  Laggridore  created  a  

super-­fine  powder  containing  31%  perfume  (high  compared  to  

liquid  fragrances,  so  you  can  expect  excellent  staying  power).  

Which  means   the   sofa  won’t   be   covered   in   sparkles   and   the  

powder  won’t  leave  a  trace  on  your  clothes.    You  just  swipe  the  

pressed   powder   with   your   finger   or   use   the   “houpette”   that  

comes  with  it  (a  delicate  round  pressed  mousse-­sponge).

When  I  received  it,  this  little  gem  made  my  day.  It's  a  little  trea-­

sure  that  you  can  easily  carry  around  in  your  bag.  

The  packaging  and   the  box   itself  are  very   luxurious.  The  box  

has  a  nice  weight  that  give  you  the  impression  that  your  are  hol-­

ding  a  luxurious  and  elegant  product.  

I  have  to  say  that  all  these  little  details  make  this  product  special  

(You  can  see  the  details  on  the  pictures).  

I  like  how  the  product  opens,  it  has  this  little  "clic"  that  make  all  

the  difference.  

Laggridore   gave   me   the   fragrance   "Eté"   that   correspond   to  

summer.  It  has  a  very  nice  smell,   it's  a  fruity  scent(pineapple,  

apricot...)   mixed   with   flowers   (lily   of   the   valley),   woody  

(rosewood)  scents  and  some  amber  and  vanilla   that  gives  an  

oriental  twist  to  the  mix.

I'dI'd  like  to  lay  emphasis  on  the  fact  that  the  product  contains  no  

alcohol,  no  parabens  and  no  phthalates  which  is  great  for  sensi-­

tive  skins  like  mine.

Every  new   fragrance   is   released  at   the  beginning  of   the  new  

season.

The  price  is  85  €,  which  is  pretty  reasonable  for  a  product  that  

will  last  you  at  least  a  year  with  three  applications  per  day.

Of  course  as  a  beauty  addict  I  gladly  accepted.  Mostly  because  

of  the  particularities  that  make  this  perfume  such  a  special  pro-­

duct.   I   say   special   because   the   perfumes   have   a   powder  

consistency,  and  are  made  of  31%  perfume  essence.

Because   they  declined  around   the   four  seasons,  each  box   is  

engraved  with  a  different  story  which  let  us  discover  the  identity  

of  the  fragrance.

LET'S  TALK  ABOUT  BEAUTY.  Recently  Laggridore  contacted  

me  and  gave  me  the  opportunity  to  do  a  review  on  one  of  their  

perfume  that  are  declined  aro

La   finesse   de   la   poudre   est   d’une   grande   qualité   et   d   »une  grande  finesse.  Pour  la  prélever,  il  suffit  d’une  caresse  avec  le  petit  accessoire   fournit  et  hop,  quelques  effleurements  par  ci,  par  là  et  nous  voilà  nimbée  d’une  délicieuse  odeur  !

Côté  fragrance,  Printemps  est  un  vert  frais  fleuri,  tout  en  dou-­ceur.C’est  un  délicieux  mélange  de  thé  vert  et  de  lys  blanc,  une  brise  fraîche  qui  s’attarde  en  un  doux  sillage  de  jonquille  et  de  mus-­cade.  Un  parfum  vraiment  frais  et  qui  se  porte  facilement.  Je  le  trouve  aussi  très  racé,  très  classe,  vraiment  envoûtant  !

Le  boitier   finement   travaillé  est  de   toute  beauté   !   Ici,   il   repré-­sente   sur   fond   d’herbe   fraîche,   le   visage   incliné   d’une   jeune  femme  à  la  coiffure  entrelacée  de  fleurs  blanches,  inspirant  la  vulnérabilité  et  la  grâce  de  la  nature  qui  s’éveille.  De  la  poésie  à  l’état  brut,  retranscrit  sur  un  boitier  bijou.  Ce  boitier   est   livré   avec   une  housse  de   transport   de   couleur  rouge  brique,  qui   fait  un  peu  penser  aux  petites  pochettes  de  Moyen  Age.

En  même  temps,  il  faudrait  être  bien  difficile  pour  rester  insen-­sible   à   la   beauté   de   l’objet   !   En   effet,   ce   parfum   poudre   est  contenu  dans  une  merveille  d’écrin  qui  fera  chavirer  nos  coeurs  de  filles  !  Et  pour  que  son  parfum  poudre  soit  unique,  Laggri-­dore   a   créé   une   nouvelle   formule   qui   n’est   ni   un   dérivé   de  parfum  ni   une  poudre  parfumée  mais  un  «   vrai   parfum  »  qui  contient  31%  d’essences  de  parfum.

J’adore   les   parfums   car   leur   1001  mondes  m’enchantent   au  plus  haut  point.    Bien  entendu,  la  plupart  du  temps,  j’utilise  des  parfums  tout  ce  qu’il  y  a  de  plus  classiques  :  des  sprays…oui  sauf  qu’il  ne  faut  pas  oublier  que  le  parfum  peut  se  présenter  sous  forme  de  concrètes  mais  aussi  de  poudres  !  En   parlant   de   poudre   de   parfum,   j’ai   testé   une   poudre   de  parfum  de  la  marque  Laggridore  et  (rime  inside)  je  l’adore  !  LesLes  fragrances  tournent  autour  des  4  saisons  :  printemps,  été,  automne  et  hiver  (les  2  dernières  étant  à  sortir  prochainement).  J’ai  testé  la  version  Printemps.

On  peut  adapter  son  parfum  à  la  saison.  «  Printemps  »,  «  Eté  »,  «  Automne  »,  «  Hiver  »,  ont  chacun  leur  senteur  et  leur  boitier  personnalisé.

Le  concept  est  top  et  hyper  raffiné.  Le  seul  bémol  :  l’odeur  ne  reste  pas  des  heures.  Mais  comme  on  peut  emporter  notre  «  poudrier  »  n’importe  où,  pas  de  souci  pour  les  retouches.  C’est  novateur  et   très  classe   !  Le  prix,  en   revanche,  nous  a  moins  convaincu   :   85   euros   quand  même,   on  mettra   3/5   avec   une  étoile  en  moins  pour  le  prix,  un  bon  point  par  contre  sur  le  res-­pect  de  la  peau,  sans  alcool  ajouté,  sans  parabens,  enrichi  en  vitamine  E  et  sans  phtalatesvitamine  E  et  sans  phtalates

On   choisit   l’endroit   où   on   veut   l’appliquer   de  manière   straté-­gique   :   cou,   décolleté,   poignées…     L’odeur   s’intensifie   au  contact   de   la   peau.   Normal,   il   s’agit   d’une   «   concentration  record   de   31%   d’essences   de   parfum   sans   le  moindre   ajout  

Compact,   le   poudrier   tient   dans   votre   sac   (même  mini!).   Du  coup  on  peut  se  balader  avec  partout.  A   l’intérieur,   il  y  a  une  petite  éponge  toute  douce  pour  appliquer  la  poudre.  Là  encore,  c’est  super  pratique

Une   jolie   boîte   noire   et   dorée.   Très   chic.   Très   vintage.   A  l’intérieur  une  petite  bourse  dans  les  tons  prunes.  Et  encore  à  l’intérieur  :   le  parfum.  Présenté  dans  un  petit  poudrier  doré  et  gravé,  on  dirait  un  objet  précieux.

I  was  contacted  recently  by  a  new  perfume  company  and  asked  if   I  was   interested   in  writing  about   their   product.  After   a  brief  description  and  a  browse  of  their  website  I  said  “Oui!”  but  that  I  thought  it  best  if  I  “discovered”  their  perfume  in  person.  (I  much  prefer  to  blog  about  things  I  have  tasted  or  tested  or  touched.  It  gives  a  more  authentic  perception  for  my  readers.  So  I  set  up  a  meeting  with   François  Marmey  who   represents   the   company  andand  is  putting  together  an  internet  publicity  campaign.  He  said  I  was   one   of   the   first   bloggers   to   respond,   which   makes   me  happy   to  be  one  of   the   first   bloggers   to  write  about   it   from  a  first-­hand  experience!  We  met  for  an  after-­work  glass  of  wine  at  the  Crillon  hotel  (I  figured  that  the  discovery  of  a  new  luxe  pro-­duct  called   for  a   luxe  setting).  We   took  a   table  on   the   indoor  courtyard  patio  as  the  weather  was  nice  for  a  change,  and  the  tables  are  large  enough  so  we  had  space  to  spread  out  the  pro-­ducts  and  test  them.

any  traces  and  it  blends  invisibly  into  the  skin.  Then  there  is  the  size  of   the  product,  which  allows   for   it   to  be  carried   in  a  small  hand  bag  or  purse,  even  an  evening  clutch  with  out  being  cum-­bersome.  Also  the  perfume  palette  compact  is  made  so  that  it  is  not  easily  breakable   (in  case   it   slips  out  of   your  hands  or  you  drop  your  clutch).  This   is   important   for   those  of  us  who   like   to  carry  it  around  with  us  and  not  just  keep  it  at  our  make-­up  mirror.  AnotherAnother  aspect  of  a  well-­thought  product   is  the  tiny  hole  in  the  bottom  of  the  compact  case  makes  it  simple  to  remove  an  empty  cartridge  and  replace  it  with  a  new  one…  And  the  list  of  qualities  goes  on.

I  can  only  suggest  that  you  try  this  product  for  yourself.  It  is  pure  luxury  yet   remains  entirely  elegant  and   refined,  and   is  entirely  MADE  IN  FRANCE.
