Volume 61, No. 6 PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE by Nichola Engle, PP, PLS If you missed last month’s meeting…boy did you miss a fabulous speaker. Oh who am I kidding…it was just me. We had a great time sharing ideas and finding new procedures as we laughed and enjoyed ourselves. Thank you to everyone who attended, I love the sharing that we did. It always makes me feel good when I can walk away from a meeting having learned something myself. I wanted to share some of those things I learned and some of the things I shared in last night’s CLE on Efficiency in the Work Place. I have listed below some tips that we collaborated on last night. • First Come-First Serve Rack/ • Before you answer the telephone grab a pen and paper, ready to write the caller’s name down. • Prioritize three times a day-morning, noon and end of day. • Carry a post-it pad and pen with you at all times to jot notes down. • Do challenging projects when you are at your “freshest” time. • If you have a co-worker who distracts you throughout the day, ask them to help you with the project you are currently working on.
