Learn from Professional Musicians. Take Classes in Jazz History, ImprovisationTheory, Voice, Music Production, Rhythm and Ensemble. Play with Jazz Masters. Students will perform at the Chicken Bone Beach Summer Jazz Series. Camp Starts in July in Atlantic City for a three weeks period. • Jazz Camp curriculum emphasizes ear-training, improvisation, jazz history, and playing in small combo Students are evaluated and placed into classes and combos with other musicians at their level.
• The Jazz Camp experience includes master classes, small ensemble playing, private lessons, and performance opportunities, as well as theory and musicianship instruction.
• Each week of Jazz Camp a public recital by student combos.*"Beginning" students are defined as having little or no experience improvising or playing jazz in a small combo but have studied their instrument for at least 18 months
