DIRECTOR’S NOTES

I remember as a young child the thrill of getting our first black and white television. We, of a certain age, can probably recall many of our favorite shows from those times. One of mine was “The Addams Family”, so I was thrilled when the TV show was created into a musical. The beloved characters and typical plot of an unsuspecting “normal” person encountering those characters have mostly remained the same. I have an amazing, hard-working cast, and I hope you have as much fun watching the show as we have had rehearsing and performing it for you.

The Putnam County Playhouse welcomes new talent on stage, backstage, and in the orchestra. Please join us to audition or sign up for your area of interest. Auditions are open to any interested parties! Come join the fun!

There will be a 15-minute intermission between acts. Smoking is notpermitted in the theater or barn except when designated by the director.No photography or video taping is permitted during the performance.Out of courtesy to the cast and audience, please turn off all communicationdevices.
