Eligibility Any student from any Indian Schools in Kuwait, as

nominated by the Principal in the prescribed form.

Entry

Entry will be limited to one contestant/ Group per

item from each School. However, one contestant

can participate in 3 Single items and 2 Group items

only.

Points System Points & grading system will be as per Kalotsav

2017 Manual, copy can be made available on

request.

Kala Prathibha & Kala ThilakA boy & a girl scoring the highest points from each

Group will be honored with Kala Prathibha & Kala

Thilak titles.

The Event

This is a two day event and the Program will be inaugurated on 8th Dec. 2017 and closing ceremony will be on 9th Dec. 2017. There will be separate stages for Juniors & Seniors.

Jawaharlal Nehru Gold Cup The School bagging the highest points will receive

the ever-rolling ‘Jawaharlal Nehru Gold Cup’

instituted by Thanima Kuwait

Team Leader The Team Leader shall preferably be the Pearl

of the School nominee. Points are allocated for

being the leader of the school team as well as

on the basis of number of items participated, the

discipline, punctuality etc., of the team members.

Teacher In-charge There shall be a teacher in-charge fully responsible

for the School team and its actions.

Points of Contact

Our main points of contact will be the Teacher In-

charge & the Team Leader.

JudgesQualified & credible judges from India having

proven track record and selected by Asianet purely

on merit basis will judge the events.

JURY OF APPEAL A ‘Jury of Appeal’ consisting of the Chief Jury, a

representative of Asianet and a representative of

Thanima will handle all complaints pertaining to

the competition.

AppealComplaints to be lodged within 30 minutes from

announcement of result in the prescribed form

against payment of KD. 25/- (Kuwaiti Dinars Twenty

five only) as deposit, which will be reimbursed if

the complaint found to be genuine & accepted

by the Jury of Appeal. If not, the amount will be

forfeited. Decision of the Judges/ Jury of Appeal

shall be final

‘Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Pearl of Kuwait ‘ Award winner selected from the Dr. APJ Abdul

Kalam Pearl of the School nominees will be

announced & honored in Kalotsav 2017 venue

Telecast The program will be telecasted in Asianet News

channel in 7 episodes of 30 minutes each, during

prime time immediately after the Event, that

includes the performance of all the first prize

winners along with highlights of 2nd & 3rd prize

winners.

Online Media Partner Besides various sponsors of the event, PROMISE

KUWAIT will be the Online Media partner for this

event.

Closing ceremony The Event closing ceremony will be on the second

day and all first prize winners of performing arts

will have to perform the winning items on the stage.

This will be recorded for telecast by Asianet.
