B.R.E. Elettronica Srl is an Italian highly specialized SME, located in San Giuliano Terme,

near to Pisa.

Since its foundation in 1979 it has been designing, producing, installing and maintaining

high-reliability remote sensing devices in different sectors: water networks, traffic

control, public service facilities, meteorology, agriculture.

B.R.E. Elettronica main products include WETNET measurement systems (flowmeters,

transducers, interfaces, signal converters, data logger, small turbine…); data transmission

OUR PATENTED LOAD CELL TECHNOLOGY Loadcell

Used in pressure pipes the sensor uses the principle of hydrodynamic thrust; a solid immersed in a liquid in motion receives a thrust (force) proportional to the square of the fluid velocity, the wet surface, and dependent on the shape of that surface.

Varying the size of the probe immersed in water it is possible to adapt the operating range and the accuracy of the meter.

The physical principle used allows to obtain measurements comparable with those obtained by ultrasonic meters.

The Flowmeter is bi-directional, that is, what we said before is valid in both directions of the flow existing in the pipe.
