• Control Fields in the “Total” corner– Regular-Standard is my
favorite template
– Adjust background colors and fonts for emphasis
• Change existing columns to something more useful like number of lines to ticket discount
• Update the hidden field above amount due for extra information
Touchscreen ConfigurationButton Editor
• Each button has a designated action
• Specify font, picture, text, hint and keyboard shortcut for each button
• Page action allows navigational control to link buttons to other pages, minimizing taps and reminding cashiers to capture required information
• Action specific steps
– Item number, item filter, run page or button page
Touchscreen Configuration
• Most frequently used button action is ITEM
– Specify the item to be sold
– Specify the qty and/or pause at qty
– Link to specific page or back to main
Touchscreen Configuration
• Item from lookup creates a dynamic search list of items that match the selected criteria
• Entering a keyword narrows the list further
• Easier than maintaining button pages of similar items
Touchscreen Configuration
• Create new page for either a run page or button page
• Link a button to the page either as a button page or a run page
• A button page navigates to the page and displays its buttons
• A run page executes all the buttons on the page in order but never displays the run page
Touchscreen Configuration
• Fill in the new page
• Enter Line Discount– Only displays line type
discounts
• Enter Document Discount– Only displays
document type discounts
Touchscreen Configuration

reports, counterpoint reports • Copy an existing similar action paragraph to create a new one
