Challenges for persons with disabilities:• activities related to identifying, designing and cutting gems requires good eyesight and manual ability. • some special measures and fitting out of the workshop for disabled persons is required for safety and mobility reasons • Physical disabilities make some employers doubt about the person’s productivity potentiel. • Some employers abuse persons in vulnerable situation adding to the lack of self confidence of the disabled persons.
