End stage kidney disease. The kidneys are very important organs in your body that help with urine elimination and removal of waste from your body. End stage kidney disease is when your kidneys cannot function very well and makes you become very sick. When your kidneys fail, you will need dialysis for 4 hours three times a week to survive. You may need a kidney transplant but it is very expensive and takes a long time to get one. Checking regularly your blood sugar and blood pressure helps.
