The Mouse and the Elephant: Vision & Determination
Yield Success!
2
“Take-Away” Goals
1.Why did we decide to partner? Whose Idea was it? What mutual benefits were expected?
2.What does the new Library look like and how is it organized?
3.What were some of the issues we confronted on our journey and how did we resolve them?
3
“…in any such partnership would the public library be the mouse, or minor partner,
overshadowed by the college’s elephant?
4
“…by working together we can offer a unique
library and cultural resource to the
community that is more than just the sum of its parts, and which brings
real life to the idea of lifelong learning
for our entire Lorain County Community.”
