• Employees pledge donations to chosen charity.Employer deducts pledged amount from their pretax pay and sends to charity. Employee obtainsimmediate tax deduction. Most attractive when
employer matches.• Australian Charities Fund facilitates these programs
• Corporates need to “buy in”
• Key is getting OIA onto an employer’s WPG
program. Usually this is employee driven. OIAneeds to identify champions within corporates whowill take up the cause.
