ARCHITECUTE REPRESENTS CULTURAL HERITAGE
For centuries “Taj Mahal” is India’s exclusive source of pride and joy. It’s magnificent architecture has mesmerized people across the globe. We too have presented this tombstone to the world’s who’s who to seek their approbation. It is really commendable, that the Mughal Emperor Shahjahan envisioned and accomplished this epic structure without the accessibility of modern technology. TAJ is just one of the example of exemplary and courageous vision and creativity. The first Chinese King Qin Shihuang also put up ‘The Great Wall’ in BC 220–206, which can be seen from moon. The Italians built Colosseum in 70–80 AD. The Mexicans built Chichen Itza in 600 AD. From time to time, many other iconic structures have come up around the world and each one of these creation, glorifies some faith or community. In India, Mughal dynasty conceived and built several gigantic and laudable structures of eminence and magnificence.

WHY SHIVAPURAM?
Although, India is pre-dominantly a Hindu state, so far little is done to represent the origin and transformation of Hindu cult. Taking inspiration from others, something must be done to showcase Hindu Culture, Faith and Philosophy. An institution, which can represent “Hinduism” in entirety, is the need of the time. Such an institution will not only be structurally iconic, but shall also help to promote and conserve Hindu ethnicity for centuries to come. Besides, such an institution can also offer invaluable community services.

LORD SHIVA IS “THE SUPREME”
Any reference to Hinduism is incomplete without the mention of the supreme and most revered Hindu Divinity, “Lord Shiva”. A multifaceted institution dedicated to ‘Lord Shiva’ as central theme can very well present our legendary and mythological heritage and religious faith. Therefore, a “Hindu Temple complex” in the centre (e.g. Nagpur Region) of the country with a exhilarating 621 feet tall standing statue of ‘Lord Shiva’ can plug the void. So far the claim for the highest statue in the world goes to 128 M (420 feet) tall standing Buddha statue in Spring Temple, China.
